linzamin Posted January 11, 2019 Report Posted January 11, 2019 Does the IXEG 737 have AutoStart capability similar to the Saab 340? Quote
Litjan Posted January 12, 2019 Report Posted January 12, 2019 No. I don´t feel that this is needed, the Saab 340´s engine management is a lot more complex. The 737 is very easy to start up. In general I really don´t see the need for an "auto start" sequence - if you don´t want to do it manually, select the "ready to fly option". What´s next, an "auto fly" option? Cheers, Jan Quote
linzamin Posted January 12, 2019 Author Report Posted January 12, 2019 OK. I just wanted to get an idea of how long it would take to startup the 737 before I purchased it. "Auto fly?" I guess that's what autopilot is. Quote

The startup of the systems and engines can be done in less than 5 minutes. If you want to do everything realistically (checks, tests, including programming the FMS) you would need about 15 mins altogether. Cheers, Jan Quote
