Nicola_M Posted October 5, 2012 Author Report Posted October 5, 2012 (edited) BK117 livery B-2 CN 7248 D-HWWW - EXCLUSIVE TO X-PILOT.COMRepaint for Nils Danielsson's excellent payware MBB BK-117.Simply unzip the file "CN 7248 D-HWWW" into your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder. This is the livery of 7248, as seen new in July 1993 in the old colours of DRF, representing Christoph 49 for the Bad Saarow region. It remains in the DRF fleet today.Heartfelt thanks to Woweezowee for his invaluable help with parts of the livery.Note: If anyone wishes the same livery but with a different registration number for an aircraft in mind, pm me and I'll happily oblige.File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilo...20-helicopters/ Edited October 5, 2012 by Nicola_M Quote
Nicola_M Posted October 6, 2012 Author Report Posted October 6, 2012 BK117 livery Possibly P-1 - EXCLUSIVE TO X-PILOT.COMRepaint for Nils Danielsson's excellent payware MBB BK-117.Simply unzip the file "Possibly P-1" into your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder. This is the livery of what I believe is the fabled P-1 prototype. The reason behind this belief is the chin windows are different to the P-2 and S-01 prototypes and the production series. This helicopter is today located in the Auto & Technik Museum at Sinsheim, Germany, and is shown in an early DRF livery.File located in file library here: http://forums.x-pilo...20-helicopters/ Quote

Nicola_M Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) Parting gift: This is the new, brighter interior for the BK117. Interior/walls and cockpit are very light grey, and more in keeping with a new BK117, rather than a worn one. It was made for two liveries, but as xplane won't run them, it's now redundant to me, but it might be of use to you all.Simply drop it into any livery folder/objects. Enjoy BK-117_interior.zip Edited January 30, 2013 by Nicola_M Quote
brownsen Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Hi Nicola, Your contributions are excellent and highly appreciated!! So I am worried if you write parting gift. What does it mean? Kind regards, Brownsen Quote
Nicola_M Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) It means, I'm finished. Had enough. No more liveries. Finale.I've realised there is absolutely no point making accurate liveries if xplane won't run them. http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/4622-strange-graphics-in-xplane-unexplained-blotchiness/#entry47761 When xplane dictates what livery you can or can't do, then it's time to stop making liveries. I don't like spending 50+ hours on a livery, only for xplane to tell me I've wasted all that time for nothing. So, enjoy the liveries. There won't be any more, and the new interior (above) is my last gift to the xplane community. Edited January 30, 2013 by Nicola_M Quote
