dave23913 Posted December 9, 2018 Report Posted December 9, 2018 I've discovered that when viewing a replay of the X-Aviation TBM 900 on a night landing the landing lights do not illuminate the ground/runway. They work fine during the actual flight, but during the replay I can view the front of the plane and see that the landing lights are on, but they do not illuminate the ground/runway. Is this a known issue? Thanks
Papickx Posted October 2, 2019 Report Posted October 2, 2019 I am going to revive this topic, since this is still an issue in 1.1.9. Any official feedback?
Goran_M Posted October 3, 2019 Report Posted October 3, 2019 There's nothing special about the landing lights. They are stock spill lights. This would be more a question for Laminar to answer.
Papickx Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 There must be something different in the TBM in any case, as the landing lights of, e.g., the default Cessna shine on the ground in replay too...
Goran_M Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 These are the lights we used. https://developer.x-plane.com/2013/04/customizing-spill-lights-two-ways/
Papickx Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 What is actually strange that during the dusk hour, when the sun is already down but it's not completely dark yet, this is not an issue. Then the landing lights are perfectly visible shining on the ground during replay... Weird.
