Visibility of the aircraft icon on the ND display

Hello Hot Start guys,
many thanks for your amazing airplane. I almost fly with it and I often use the ND display to navigate the various airports. Unfortunately, the aircraft icon is barely visible in large areas. Is it possible to change the contrast or the color a little bit?

The map is the laminar G1000.  It can't be changed, unfortunately.  It can be added to. 
If/when Laminar decide to grant access to the G1000 API, then more areas of the G1000 will be editable.
