airtrack Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Hello all,Just a quick post to say that a new 2.2.1 version of the AirTrack plugin (only) is now available, fixing some problems observed in certain conditions with the FMC and loading flight plans. There is no need to replace the 2.2 unless you had problems, but there is no harm in doing it either since this one corrects some bugs. Please remember to delete the old plugin from Resources/plugins first before installing 2.2.1thanks,joao @ ip objects air Quote
parauk Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 can i ask, is it possible to set headings and altitudes for autopilot from the iPad using air track thank you Quote
PWJT8D Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Yes it is. AirTrack has a built in autopilot which is fully standalone. I like this feature because I can use AirTrack's autopilot on aircraft that do not have one built in such as the WACO from Alabeo. I also use it with the LES DC-3 as it allows me to even fly ILS approaches with it. Sorta brings the aircraft into present day times, if that is your preference. Quote
parauk Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) thank you for that PWJT8D I will def be buying it, I am new to x plane and find it very difficult to set altitude, heading ect. on the instrument panel in some aircraft where you have to put mouse curser over switch and drag it around. It does not work for me. Edited February 8, 2013 by parauk Quote
PWJT8D Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 http://www.ipobjects.com/products/airtrack/mcpHere is the list of features for AirTrack's MCP. All the way at the bottom of the page is a screenshot of the panel on the iPad. You can see all your autopilot functions and if you tap over a number such as the altitude, it will bring up the option to change that number with a little number keypad. Quote
