mga010 Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 Today, I get a strange problem. Even though the engine has started properly, moving the thrust has no effect on engine 2. Only number 1 gets thrust. There is also unsymmetric oil quantity, and the pressure is not in the green. I have not set any failures. Start was from turn around. Probably a technical problem from my side, but which? Paul 1 1 Quote
Litjan Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) Hmm, let me guess, you are using XP11 and you are not reading many forums related to XP11, right? Here, let me help you with that: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/110304-ixeg-737cl-and-more/&page=2#comment-1134164 Edited March 6, 2017 by Litjan Quote
mga010 Posted March 6, 2017 Author Report Posted March 6, 2017 I saw this thread before I bought the plane. It has grown since then. Anyways, I did not have problems with the plane besides this issue. Maybe this problem is related to the fact that I "resumed last flight". Or to the turn around state. Will check. 1 Quote
mga010 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 I now did it from turn around, and the problem did not reappear. Had some other problems, though, but not in this thread. Quote
smoothchat Posted May 11, 2017 Report Posted May 11, 2017 (edited) Do you have the ground handling plugin installed. I have found that the IXEG 737 doesn't like that plugin. If I remove it, I cannot get one engine to fail as you describe, yet every now and then it "does" fail if I have the ground handling plugin installed. I believe that the pause introduced as groundhandling initialises, highlights the issue with the idle (as covered in the posts above) Edited May 11, 2017 by smoothchat Quote
