marpilot Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 Hello, we should also discuss here IVAO net, as it is in my opinion even better for X-plane users than Vatsim, because of CSL livery matching (I have tried the two networks). Check for IFR World Tour 2017 and let's meet in virtual sky Cheers Quote
aljaz41 Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Well I'm thinking of doing around Africa IFR tour. Seems like a nice tour with most likely amazing scenery. 1 Quote
marpilot Posted March 21, 2017 Author Report Posted March 21, 2017 (edited) I am finishing WT IFR 2017 in couple of weeks, then will think about next one. Maybe VFR ? South Africa is very interesting! Edited March 21, 2017 by marpilot Quote
Tom Stian Posted April 3, 2017 Report Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) Thanks for link @aljaz41 Im almost done now with the "Around Africa tour". Very fun to do this. ATC coverage is limitied, but when they where online they gave me excellent service. On my way to FQMA / Maputo now. And after that it is the last flight of this tour to, FACT / Cape Town, where it all started. I was flying from Nairobi to Dar es Salaam when I spotted this little mountain. Had to check the maps what mountain it was. And found out it was Mount Kilimanjaro. Some random screenshots Edited April 3, 2017 by Tom Stian 3 Quote
aljaz41 Posted April 3, 2017 Report Posted April 3, 2017 Excelent job Tom! Looks like you had lots of fun flying this tour. I noticed you are using some fancy app or something to track your flights? Do you mind sharing what it is exactly? Quote

My flights is done on Vatsim (sorry for posting on this IVAO thread, but I think this tour was a great idea and wanted to share my experience ), so the tracking is done automaticly. Im not sure if you can track like that on IVAO ? If not you can use https://projectfly.co.uk/ to track your flighs. Quote
