ssa919 Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Hi all, For some reason I am unable to activate VNAV in XP11 Beta 2 release. Also I know this is a known issue but also I am unable to enter ZFW and takeoff ref speeds in the FMC. Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problems? Im itching to be able to do full flights. Thanks! Quote
sdflyer Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Hi I'm on XP11 b2. I did tweak APU via aircraft maker. Other than that I have no problem entering ZFW in FMC. Take off ref usually calculated automatically for me when I enter all flight parameters including departure runway. Quote
ssa919 Posted December 13, 2016 Author Report Posted December 13, 2016 Thank you for the reply! Its strange how I cant get it to work on my side. When I try to input ZFW it gives me the "Error not found". Quote

I completely overlooked the pounds vs metric preference so that could be it. I did a fresh install into XP11 so maybe the default setting is metric? Im currently at work but will try that when I get a chance! And yes you are absolutely correct about ZFW/VNAV needing to talk to each other. Quote

Do you happen to know if metric is the "default" setting? do not remember, but just move the mouse all the way to the left side of the screen until the end, a ixeg popup will arise, go to preferences and set there. 50 tons in metric is +100k pounds. so this is a difference when entering valid data to the fmc. If you are metric and try to enter a large pounds load it will not accept it. if metric/pounds issue still does not fix your problem please attach some screen captures to see what is going on Quote
