"Switched hot battery bus" failure procedure

I've been playing with the failure modes while on the ground, and the "Switched hot battery bus" one looked particularly scary... That got me curious:

- Is there a non-normal procedure for such a failure?

- What are the odds of such a failure on the real world?

Hi,

there is no non-normal procedure for that. It is very rare, fortunately, but what has happened is that the battery charger failed, the battery drained and the planes generators dropped offline. Fortunately the weather was good (not even standby power)...
