Hi Frank,

Today I had to pause a flight for about an hour and after about one minute ofter return X-Plane crashed, alegedly due to SMP. One odd thing, though, is that there seems to be great activity from IA, while I thought it would have been disabled by X-Ivap; log.txt is attached.

Oh my; that does indeed look like our bug somehow. If you can get this to happen again, can you please also provide your METAR.rwx file so I can try to reproduce it? Hopefully it's something our upcoming 3.2.1 update already fixes, but it would be good to know for sure.

Frabk,

Just one thought about this: RWC is downloading metar but x-plane is also downloading metar, in spite of the weather being set uniformly for the world. NOAA plugin is downloading metar itself, but the format is different and also the file location. Anyway, i've always noticed that RWC only seems to start after NOAA does it's job; when I open x-plane there is some type of weather, including clouds, that changes abruptly to the actual weather, as soon as NOAA finishes downloading.

When RWC is in "always" mode, it downloads its own maxx_metar.rwx file (or something similarly named - I'm the road and can't check specifically) and ignores the metar.rwx file provided by X-Plane and/or the NOAA plugin.
