Hello gentlemen first of all congratulations with this fine classic bird.

Brief introduction:

I'm new to X-plane and thought to give it a try again so far I like it, coming myself from the dark side FS series and still using P3D V3 and will be ;-).

Member of a dev team over there ;-)

Have a son with TQ 737 PG/NG and 747 with the famous airline...

Have done some test flights... and looking more in depth now.

Doing several circuits on my home town airport AMS to test the system and feel of this bird and X-plane...

Was doing a setup and noticed the following wrong info in the FMC...

The at or below info isn't parsed correctly from navigraph data see waypoint (IAF) Artip should be FL100B and FL700A (SPL has TA of 3000)

Further the speed restriction of SPL D15 is at 220 ... see screenshots below to illustrated.

Noticed also the difference between the navigraph data IXEG and for example the PMDG 737NG, my guess it that you guys have now a basic FMC with capabilities.

But at the current functionality it should be to better parse the lowest flight level with above then highest value?

Had also some weird VNAV and LNAV disconnects on several flights. for example during an otto descent was in FLCH and LNAV mode suddenly it disconnects banks left levels off and continues  straight ahead... reselecting the waypoint brings it back into lnav mode...

Hope this is helpful...

Cheers,

André

Hi André and thanks for the report! Oh, and welcome to X-plane, too!

Yes, we are aware of a parsing problem with the Navigraph dataset we are having... Tom is investigating that!

As for your disconnects, it is very hard to see what is going on without more info, screenshots or even better a short video. Some users had problems with setting the CWS deadzone too small (so joystick input would disconnect the AP), or flying past a discontinuity would also send you out of LNAV.

We are simulating an older FMC version, so the NG´s will not always compare to ours...

Happy flying, Jan

Thanks Jan appreciated the fast response, and realizing that reporting the issue without any extra info isn't make it very useful for you guys.

So will make the next time a more detailed report with the relevant screenshots...

Ps above was with Airac1606 no hardware jitter problems here, it was after selecting a new arrival and runway and after the next way point lnav disconnected,

Which FMC software version is simulated so I can compare with CBT or the FCOM....

Or is that mentioned in the manual lol will have a look...

Cheers,

André
