Deliberate Overspeed in VNAV (IAS/MACH)

Short flight: KORF..HPW..THHMP RAVNN4 KBWI at 16000

At 16000 TGT SPD .570:

 

I decided to increase to.690 (at the point not realizing this is too fast for the altitude).

 

Plane is accelerating to the commanded speed with VNAV.

Overspeed. Look at the IAS/MACH:

 

 

Turning VNAV off, IAS/MACH goes back to normal (below overspeed):

 

 

Back to VNAV with .690, IAS window is trying to command the plain to increase speed to the speed of light and fly away from the crazy pilot:

Thanks for the report - everything working as expected - except for the speed going to 34458 kts .
