Bombardier Q500- By Kaphias for the 2011 X-Plane.org Next Gen Turboprop Competition
This aircraft is a derivative of my SkyFerry. The Q500 concept is a stable, easy to fly canard design, with plenty of power to get in and out of short strips. It seats 72 passengers.
Below is the "read me" file, which is also included with the download.

Engine start procedure:
On the right side of the panel, turn on the battery, avionics, and both generators, then the igniter and fuel switches for each engine.
Press and hold each start button for five seconds until startup, then turn on the Inverter as well.
Takeoff procedure:
Lower flaps one or two notches depending on runway length. Throttle engines to full power, rotate at 130-155kts depending on weight.
Retract gear, raise flaps as needed. Climb at 230kts and 1500-2000fpm.
In an engine-out situation:
Increase speed to stabilize aircraft, retract flaps, return to airport.
Landing procedure:
Slow to 120-140kts depending on weight, deploy flaps to full as needed. Trim up or pull back on the stick to keep the nose up.
Always keep some power to the engines, if you close the throttles the plane will drop.
Flare, close throttles for touchdown, speedbreaks up, engage full reverse thrust, add brakes as needed.
Disengage reversers, close speedbreaks, taxi off runway.
This aircraft uses two Europrop TP400-D6 engines, the same engines used on the upcoming Airbus A400M.

The airfoils are from the Car Ferry competition package.
The Q500 seats 72 people in a 2x2 configuration. This makes for 18 rows. I have spaced the rows 40 inches apart, which is just above the average for many of todays airlines. Bags are placed in the rear of the plane. Six 2x6 bag "weapons" were used to represent the size and weight of 72 bags.
