  1. Hello together, in the meantime I added this functionality to my existing personal plugin: If there is a connection to VATSIM, my plugin does the following every 60s: I) reading of the local coordinates (x, y, z) of the ixeg 737 II) adding 10 meters to the x coordinate III) retrieving the world coordinates of the modified local coordinates (via XPLMLocalToWorld) IV) setting the local coordinates to the modified local coordinates and the world coordinates to the retrieved world coordinates for each of the 19 multiplayer aircrafts I will test this functionality over the next months. I plan to change the offset from 10 meters to a much higher value during this test. Regards Jens
  2. Hello Jan, can this be fixed (please see the snap in the attachment)? Or does this also happen in the real aircraft? Thanks. Regards Jens
  3. I just did some testing with the DataRef Tool. Result: If the OpenGL coordinates of the multiplayer aircrafts do not change, these aircrafts stay at a fixed position on the map. So, would it be better to set these coordinates depending on the OpenGL coordinates of the IXEG 737? As a result, the IXEG 737 would never reach the position of the multiplayer aircrafts. E.g. we could set the x coordinate to the x coordinate of the IXEG 737 plus 100nm.
  4. For your information, http://www.xsquawkbox.net/xpsdk/mediawiki/ScreenCoordinates states the following: "The reference point is generally the center of the mapped scenery, which is __not__ the same as sim/flightmodel/position/lat_ref and sim/flightmodel/position/lon_ref." I've just read this and want to share this information. So now the question is: Where is the center of the mapped scenery? ;-) Is it the center of the tile?
  5. Hello Tom, thanks a lot for your explanation! I have just studied your script: As far as I understand you script (I am not familiar with FlyWithLua), you set the OpenGL coordinates of the multiplayer aircrafts to 0 every 10 seconds. Since the OpenGL origin is generally positioned on the surface of the earth at the latitude and longitude reference point, the multiplayer aircrafts may be still shown in the IXEG, am I right? Do you know where the latitude and longitude reference point typically is? Thanks for helping me. Regards Jens
  6. Hello Tom, ok, thank you. Can you tell me the root cause of the issue your script may avoid? Is it e.g. a bug of X-Plane? Do you know if the issue will be fixed by the causer? Thanks. Jens
  7. Hello Tom, you wrote " This script is only ment for version 1.1.". So is this script not necessary anymore for version 1.2? I just want to make sure. Thanks for your answer. Kind regards Jens
  8. Hello together, is the autopilot disengage bar on the MCP spring-loaded in the real aircraft? In the IXEG 737, it is. Thanks a lot for your confirmation. Kind regards Jens
  9. If I only set the dataref "ixeg/733/hydraulics/speedbrake_act" if the joystick axis value changes, the automatic movement to the up / down position is not prevented. Regarding the flap lever it's similar: We need to set the respective dataref only on change to get the lever snapped.
  10. Hello mfor, thank you for your answer. I fear that the automatic activation/deactivation of the speedbrake is disturbed if I use "ixeg/733/hydraulics/speedbrake_act". Or is this function not affected? Regards Jens
  11. Hello mmerelles, you wrote: "you can make a lua script or similar to manipulate xplane dataref speed brakes axis writting values 0.xxxx to 1.0 (sim/cockpit2/controls/speedbrake_ratio)". However, modifying the dataref "sim/cockpit2/controls/speedbrake_ratio" via my plugin does NOT move the lever of the IXEG 737. But: Modifying the dataref "sim/cockpit2/controls/speedbrake_ratio" moves the lever of the 737 of Laminar Research. What could be the cause? (The data ref tool confirms that my plugin successfully writes to "sim/cockpit2/controls/speedbrake_ratio"; no joystick axis is mapped to the speedbrake) I have the impression that a different dataref needs to be written for the IXEG 737. Thanks a lot for your help! Kind regards Jens
  12. Hello together, XP just crashed while I was flying with the IXEG 737. Can someone isolate the cause with the files in the attachment? This is the data of Microsoft's event viewer: - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2017-08-31T20:37:44.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>176148</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>MeinPC</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>11.0.5.1</Data> <Data>59a193f8</Data> <Data>unknown</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>00000000</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>00000000000bdca4</Data> <Data>5e8</Data> <Data>01d32297a40a8265</Data> <Data>D:\X-Plane 11\X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>unknown</Data> <Data>3d73637e-8e8c-11e7-8084-d43d7eea6ded</Data> </EventData> </Event> Thank you a lot!! 13. @Cameron Hello Cameron, may I ask in this forum/topic where I can find the list of changes that have been done from SkyMaxx Pro V4.5 to V4.6? I am asking since I saw a video about SkyMaxx Pro v4.5 (with Real Weather Connector) which points out that SkyMaxx Pro does not cover the entire horizon (instead of xEnviro). May I also ask if Real Weather Connector is also compatible with the IXEG 737? (Since you wrote, SkyMaxx Pro is compatible with the IXEG 737, I think about buying SkyMaxx Pro). Thanks. Regards Jens
  14. Thank you guys for your answers! Jens
  15. @Cameron Can you please tell me why the 737 is fine with SkyMaxx Pro but not with xEnviro? Is e.g. the weather radar display and the rain effect on the windshield correct if SkyMaxx Pro is used? Why is this not the case if xEnviro is used? Thanks a lot for your information. Kind regards Jens
