  1. That depends on a LOT of things. What hardware do you have? What type of flying do you do and what settings are important to you? What scenery are you asking about - Aerosoft or other commercial scenery? Do you have HD or UHD mesh installed? Do you have w2xp files installed? What weather and cloud generators are you using? What aircraft are you flying? How much RAM and VRAM do you have?
  2. Someone in another forum thread said they had a similar problem - it had something to do with the measurement settings being changed to or from metric. Don't know how that affects the AP, but if you made any such changes, try going back.
  3. I just built one that is about as fast as possible. X-Plane uses extra cores for AI and such, but for high framerates, pure CPU speed is the only answer. SSHDs are expensive and speed up loading X-Plane but they don't increase framerates. I chose a fast i7 4790K (unlocked) CPU rather than a 6 or 8-core at a slower clock speed. No regrets.
