Hello, I did not see a topic for this wonderful plugin. So I thought I should start one. I do this with the blessing of the new developer of this plugin. His name is Antonello Mattacchieri The history of this plugin is well documented in the OTHER nasty place. So I won't bother repeating it here. But I can say that this is for me a great plugin which works really well & is being improved upon constantly. All the information for the plugin can be found at this address: http://124thatc.matacchieri.eu/ If you like me are not a fan of X-Plane's own ATC and/or you find keeping up with VATSIM and/or IVAO strange rules really tiresome, then this plugin is for you! Antonello has said he would join this forum & reply to any queries that come up. And I will also do the same, as long as I am allowed to. Lastly, I think the only thing that both Antonello & i would ask is that simmers should read the user guide & try the plugin out before reporting problems here. Steve

Hi there, ok do me a favor and try out the following: May be you could also reproduce the problem with your current installation of X-Plane but I just made sure it was not anything else that was causing this strange behavior. - Get a brand new installation of X-Plane 10.5r1(can be also the Demo) - install the CRJ 200 1.4.5 - start X-Plane - after you see the inside of the default B747, wait for 10-15 seconds - bring up the location map and chek out to see if the planes that were on the ground together with you have moved. There should be a small purple line showing the path they have travelled since start. It should be visible. - now load the CRJ and then quit X-Plane so it would be loaded the next time we start the sim - start X-Plane and wait for 10-15 seconds - I do not know what you will see, but I do not see any planes on the ground moving, only those that are in the air have a purple line aded to them. What I noticed is that if I disable the CRJ Avionics plugin and reload the AI planes they immediately start moving, and afterwards if I try to reenable the plugin again X-Plane crashes. So to wrap it up: CRJ is loaded and the Avionics plugin active - no ground AI movement CRJ is loaded and the Avionics plugin disabled - ground AI movement present Any other default XP10 plane is loaded and the plugin active or disabled - ground AI movement present I know that ATC is work in progress, but I still enjoy it when flying planes other than the CRJ. I hope there is a workaround for me here. I am currently using X-Plane 10.05r1 and CRJ-200 1.4.5 under Windows 7x64

File Name: CYYZ Toronto Pearson Airport AI/ATC Routes File Submitter: bkeith2 File Submitted: 07 Apr 2014 File Category: Misc Scenery Resources X-Plane Version(s): X-Plane 10 Using the great CYYZ scenery from Chris K and the ISDG; I went through and added all the taxi routes for those who use X-plane's ATC system. Just unzip and replace the included apt.dat file in your CYYZ folder under Earth nav data. This is for X-Plane 10 only. The scenery itself has not changed and I do not claim it as my own, as it is not. Brendan Keith Click here to download this file

I may be dreaming. As it is right now in xp10, one can file a flight plan and request IFR clearance using a valid radio frequency. The specifics of the flight plan are determined in the ensuing dialogue box in X-Plane. Using this same set-up and the valid frequency for one's airport, what would it take to request a VFR departure (with a destination selected), or a simple traffic pattern for touch-and-go's. Either way, especially for most controlled airports, the steps (and programming ) are the same as currently exists with IFR, just without a radar following, and vectors. For example: 1. Request Clearance. (same) 2. Request Taxi. (same) 3. Receive Take Off Clearance (same, including a departure heading) 4. Hand-off (same) --proceed to destination-- 5. Request Approach (the possibility could exist within a certain NM range of the declared destination??) 6. Request Landing Clearance (same) 7. Receive Landing Clearance. (same) 8. Receive Taxi instructions (same) Is this possible, or feasible?

Chris Serio has posted some video tutorials (screencasts) for creating functional ATC pathways on the ground while using WED1.2b1. The series is worth watching if you are spending any time editing airports in WED. I just laid down a network of taxiway paths in my project airport quickly and easily knowing how it's done and what the fields mean. http://developer.x-p...rldeditor-v1-2/ Enjoy! -Greg
