  1. Hello, Sometimes during cruise (usually not on the first but on subsequent legs) I will lose all navigational capability including heading. Looking at the IRS status, all is blank (see attached screenshot). This has happened at least three times now, so I've paid extra attention to the steps taken during turnaround. I've consistently reset the FMC by cycling databases, and then entering the GNSS1 position in the POS INIT page. Shutting down all power to the aircraft and starting cold & dark also did not prevent this from happening. I am aware of the Realignment IRUs Immediately option but of course I would like to avoid this from happening in the first place. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I cannot figure it out... Any help from someone more experienced would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Good Morning/Afternoon, I'm new to the forums here and would like to start off by asking you kind people a question regarding the BAe Jetstream 32. I've finally gotten this amazing plane to work on my system well. One thing however that is frustrating, is the lack of GPS guidance in the manual. I've read the PDF inside and out...I can control the aircraft from Cold and Dark till Landing and shutdown with no issues.... I just cannot for the love of me get the GPS to work. I've been trying to use the default, and also the two extra addon GPS'. I cannot use RealityXP GTN650, or the RealityXP GTN750 ---AT ALL---. How do I use these? Please help me and yes I've been googling my fingers off.
  3. Hi, I had purchased the les saab 340 for x plane 11. Though it was not recommended, the aircraft pretty much loads fine except for the gps. It is unusable and cannot be turned on. I get the error: Run(xp) : G530_main: [string "JGX.2.G530.00.lua.aes"] : attempt to index local 'G530navCycleFileHandle" (a nil value). Is there anyway to make the gps work or will I need to wait till version 1.5 of the saab is released?
  4. Sorry if this is a duplicate - did a quick search through the forum and didn't see this issue addressed. When I start up X-Plane I'm parked on the ramp at KAPA. But, the moving map shows me 0.5 mile west of the airport. NRST brings up a list of airports, including KAPA at a distance of 0.5 miles. This issue is unique to the Corvalis, including stock X-Plane craft and a payware Baron. I'm on a MacBook Pro running Yosemite. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!
  5. Hi I'm using X-Plane 10 and the stock 172SP with the Garmin 430. I want to zoom into the GPS (i.e. have the GPS as a separate window). I've seen that this works, but I don't know what key/key combination it is. Many Thanks
  6. Hello! I recently bought the beechcraft duchess and I'm wondering about the HSI. It seems to be wandering, or something else, since all my holdings/approaches, after a certain time does not add up. The GPS says my track is something which makes no sense. After restart the problem seems to restore itself. I read the POH and says the HSI should be a fixed card. Am I doing something wrong? Is HSI "fail safe" and should stay the same way throughout the flight, considering no settings have been changed? I attached a picture of the HSI, which indicates a heading of 199 degrees, however, the GPS indicates a track of 189 which is the correct bearing at my current position. The HSI indicated 189 before take-off and has rotated through 10 degrees during flight, now showing 199. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks in advance! Attaching a picture of the GPS and HSI so you can see how the numbers don't match
