I made a modified version of the wav file for XP9 its available here http://forums.x-plan...s&showfile=9240 Just save a copy of your original in the sounds folder and over wriite it . You can also change it to your liking with an editor such as audacity. Larry

First off I did not mean to be rude but the way you guys are going on about the sliders I figured they must be very precious to you . As far as the default advanced settings I would compare this to the system used in MS flight where they have a setting to switch back and forth betwen detailed and simple clouds . this way people who just want to fly VFR with a few clouds probably would not need adjustments and if they did want to and screwed things up they could always reset them to default . As far as your clouds look from above thats how they looked from below so hes got it partly fixed so submit your bug reports and wait till RC2 comes out . But it does not hurt to give constructive critisism instead of just bashing Xplane10

Just think of it this way i with FSX and other microsoft sims If there where problems you would have to wait forever if ever for a service pack to come out and they where far and few between . With Xplane you have a bug reporting system for a simulator that is constantly evolving . Why not send Ben or Austin suggestions for an advanced cloud option . That way you could run the default settings or switch to advanced mode to get your precious sliders back . I can see were cloud settings for an average user could lead to all sorts of headaches when customers set their settings to high for their system . Lets face it the majority of users don,t run multy core High end PCs with the latest highend graphics cards .

Every new flight sim has its bugs FS9 had memory hole problems FSX had the blurries

Actually I really like this update Lets face it we are in the begining of XP10 lots of time to improve

10.03 RC1 is here and we have clouds back yeeehaa

I sent an Email to Tom AKA Howdy and he said that he has plans to upgrade Inside passage and the rest of his senery to XPX . He mentioned that he will also be Adding about a hundred airports and may charge a five to ten dollar upgrade fee because of all the work required . Also Graham just wondering if you may have added the file IP_9_FIX into the add on scenery if so remove it as he recomended not to use this file in XPX. Larry

Tonka purchased one today and was surprised at how solid it feels . I did what you recomended and tried it on for size at the store and my thumb must be longer than yours no problem reaching Hat switch. Thanks Larry

Ok thanks I am currently using a Microsoft siwinder force feedback 2 with the xforce plugin on XP10 but its not consistant and sometimes gets on your nerves and your hand gets tired and jumpy. Thanks Larry

just wondered if anyone has any experience with the Thrustmaster T.16000M joystick ? I can find lots of info on their HOTAS sticks but not much on this basic Joystick .

I am in the proccess of installing Xplane10 and have chosen only to install north america at this time I believe that with Xplane 9 you had to install all the scenery you wanted at once before you updated is that the same for Xplane10 or can I add scenery down the road without reinstalling? Larry
