    Sounds like the plugin itself is breaking during initialization. That threading violation usually points to an incompatibility with a recent X-Plane 12 update or plugin conflict.

    I had a similar CTD issue with the Challenger before, and it turned out to be a plugin conflict. Did you check your add-ons?
