  1. That did it. All's well now. I still am not a fan of needing to run Rosetta, but I do love this airplane and your sim is fun to fly, so I will wait eagerly for the update. For now, I'm happy and glad things are working. Thank you for hanging in there with me and resolving the issue.
  2. Here's a fresh log.txt I feel badly about the amount of time this is requiring. Thank you for the effort and support.I Log.txt
  3. Rosetta install was successful but XP12 still crashes to the desktop.
  4. Thank you, I'll try it. What I don't understand is why it has run just fine for so long before now.
  5. I apologize for that! Here is the file. Log.txt
  6. Just tried it and I get a crash to the desktop. I think this is the end of the line for me with this add-on. I have no other app that requires Rosetta, and no other add-on plane for XP12 that requires Rosetts, except for this one. It's just too much hassle. Every time I upgrade XP I have to re-enter my credentials for the Musketeer, sometimes also for the G500. It's just too finicky. I love it when it works, but I really don't want to be a software engineer. I want to fly the plane.
  7. I'll give that a try. I had been running it without Rosetta for some time, don't know why all of a sudden this happens. But I'll check it out.
  8. Recently I have started getting an error message when opening the Sundowner relating to sound. I've attached a screenshot below. IN addition, I am unable to move the fuel tank switch and it remains in the "off" position. I've also uploaded a log.txt file below from starting up through the error message, then quitting. Log.txt
  9. Thanks. I've also basically been flying the glass cockpit version. I gave up on the traditional panel.
  10. Maybe including brighter panel lighting? (Sorry I can't let go of this--the sim is just too good for this issue to linger)
  11. Well it appears that (a) i'm the only one on this site with any interest in this problem and (b) it's all X-Plane 12's fault so there's nothing to be done. I'm getting the message loud and clear that this cannot or will not be addressed. Which means this (otherwise) excellent sim will likely not be flown much. I have to be able to see the instruments. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be confrontational but the traditional panel of this plane is unflyable for those reasons. This is very disappointing.
  12. I don't think this is really the answer. All may other XP12 planes have a nicely lit panel and working brightness controls. On the Sundowner, no lighting controls have any effect unless the flight is taking place at night. This is very frustrating and though I love this plane and appreciate how faithfully it reproduces the expected flight characteristics, having to pause and zoom in just to look at an instrument is becoming too frustrating. I fly this less and less because of this issue. Maybe I'm the only one who has it, maybe nobody else flies from the traditional panel, but for me this has become a deal-breaker. I am really sorry because the sim clearly has a ton of good work invested in it.
  13. Thanks! Still enjoy flying it.
  14. So I'm guessing I'm just out of luck on this point? Nothing possible to make the panel lights brighter?
  15. I hear you. I'm glad at least you got the Sundowner out there for XP12. I'm loving it.
