Thank you Coop, your insights were spot on.

I get an error related to "minor VR parsing error" each time I start up the simulation in X-Plane 12, even though I do not use VR software or controls. My mouse and joystick controls will not interact with any of the instruments in the simulation. The "enable" button in X-plane VR Hardware is greyed out and cannot be changed. I have attached a log and seek a solution as reinstalls and editing preference files have not availed. Your input will be much welcomed. Log.txt
