  1. Yes. That zooms my view.
  2. Enjoy flying the Saab. one thing niggles though, having to click multiple times to select altitude. I appreciate the altitude selector goes in hundred feet increments, but having to click the button so many times is annoying. I guess in the real aircraft, you can twist, to move rapidly to the altitude you want, and it looks, from videos posted in early reviews, like you used to be able to do this. I've searched through the available keyboard commands. am I missing something? 10 clicks per thousand feet? I'm using a Mac.
  3. That's what I figured, so thank you for confirming. I'd love to upgrade but I'd need a new machine as well as 12, can't justify it right now.
  4. Thanks for responding, I'll take a look at them
  5. Simple question; I haven't updated to XPlane 12, for various reasons. This new version is optimized for Xplane 12. Will it work with XP 11? Are there any benefits to downloading it?
  6. Unfortunately I've had the same problem, but charging the batteries doesn't help. Oddly though the "failed" systems all work while the plane is in the air, so it is an irritation rather than a serious problem.
  7. Anyone have a favourite, or list of particularly interesting/difficult/challenging airfields to get into, either for light aircraft or short haul twins?
  8. Thanks. I've been to the top of Toubkal (years ago) which wasn't too bad, so I was a bit surprised to be getting hypoxia and 12and a half. No problem at all in the King Air. I did a low route in a Tiger Moth, and got to 12 so I can always take the Islander that way.
  9. Thanks for the response, and the information. I did wonder, but the service ceiling tempted me. Rather than disable, I'll try to find a way through the valleys. More fun.
  10. Thanks, an interesting suggestion. But seems to me like the model should allow cabin pressurisation, given the service ceiling.
  11. Recent accquisition, very much enjoying it. Recently took it from La Menara, Marrakech, over the High Atlas to Ouarzazate, and interesting "hop" for Light/Medium aircraft, which I have done a couple of times, sadly not as pilot. My preferred route takes me to 13,600 ft. I got the "dark screen" warning. Now looking for a way to set the cabin pressurisation, but can't identify. Any help would be appreciated. I survived, btw, but had to come down a little earlier and quicker than I normally would.
