  1. That is funny because I have 10.04 Beta 1.
  2. Have you checked the beta box on the updater. From the X-Plane Dev Blog: "To get 10.04, you must run the updater and check “get new betas as well as updates”. The updater will not get you a beta unless you specifically ask for it, and X-Plane won’t nag you to update if the patch is only in beta. (This is our preferred method of running betas, and all future betas will be like this.)"
  3. The 2000 was started way back in 2009/10. I guess it will depend mostly on if I choose to program systems. I'm looking into it at the moment.
  4. There is already a great Saab 340 being produced. And it would still require a large amount of work. It is harder to do than people think.
  5. Modelling is nearing completion. Might be a bit easier to fly now with the addition of a yoke and rudder pedals.
  6. um, to me it looks like your setting the visibility to 11.5 M, which would be why it is defaulting to 0.1 nm.
  7. Just taken the dust off the old Saab. Added some details here and there, upgraded some areas with parts from previous versions. Still a fair bit of work to go, but I will continue work when I can. (school starts next tuesday) There are details I need to put in everywhere, there are bits missing from the cockpit, and it needs some serious mesh optimisations. Cheers Kieran (please excuse the graininess of some of the renders, I don't have all day to render images) [EDIT] picture removed.
  8. Just got back from 4 weeks at the beech. [EDIT] picture removed.
  9. The next 24 hours according to Cameron, (recently posted under: jrollon -> general -> crj200 1.4)
  10. In another thread Philipp said he had released 1.4 to org customers and had found a large bug, so X-Aviation customers would be getting 1.4.1
  11. It seems the xpfw site is down.
  12. update and it will be back.
  13. I know there is a new jet engine model in X-Plane 10, so this could be the reason for the larger amount of thrust.
  14. More work done on the rear panel, added the Garmin stuff (GPS and transponder). [EDIT] picture removed, new ones coming soon.
  15. The way I see it at the moment from the responses is: the pilot has too be done right and show only from the exterior, and possibly be able to disable altogether. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers Kieran
  16. Sure can, use the x_Cockpit_INN.obj and x_Cockpit_OUT.objs.
  17. Last weekend I started work on an Extra 300L. With the summer holidays about to start I though it was a good time to start work on an aircraft, with the intention of finishing (or doing the majority of the work) by the end of the holidays (end of January). The goals: - Accurate flight model (hopefully including some systems such as the smoke system, and a better engine model), - Detailed 3d exterior and interior, - And fun to fly. I'll try and keep this thread up to date, but I will be going away which will limit my internet access. Cheers, Kieran [EDIT] picture removed.
  18. Cool, any chance you could get some pics (various angles of the cockpit would be great)? Cheers Kieran
  19. Thanks guys, school is almost over (finishes next week) so the work load is almost nothing which gives me a lot of time. BTW I'm not done yet with the detail. Anyone seen the X-Plane.org Extra 300s? I'm wondering just how much detail there is in that, to me the pilot looks horrible.
  20. Basic gauges. [EDIT] picture removed.
  21. The start of a cockpit. [EDIT] picture removed.
  22. I don't have that file, under either V9 or V10.
  23. The problem is that this is just another Mac vs PC debate, it just comes down to personal preference (usually based on what you have been using for most of your life.), and OS in the case of FSX.
