  1. Ok, thanks Pils. But what do I do about it? And where do I get the DRM plug-in from if I need it please?
  2. Hello. I have this problem but no files have been quarantined by Windows Defender. I have removed CJ525 and carried out a complete fresh download and re-install to no avail. The attached image shows X-Plane 12 running with the aircraft floating and inset is the file system showing the cj_systems.xpl file sitting in the correct location, not quarantined. On closing x-plane I get a strange file error message (see attached) that I don't get with other aircraft. I have also included the log.txt file. Please help Thank you Log.txt
  3. Here's the latest Log file. Log.txt
  4. Thanks for the reply Coop. I’m not familiar with the references you gave but will take a look as soon as I’ve resolved the latest issue with the CJ. When I launch XP and create a new flight with the CJ it appears like Luke Skywalker’s hovercraft, stationary with the wheels up. Nothing I’ve done so far can resolve it. I’ve deleted and reloaded the aircraft, rebooted the pc (Windows 10), not sure where else to go. Other aircraft in my XP catalogue work ok, just the CJ. Any ideas please? Thanks again. jim
  5. Hello, I've just bought the CitationJet 525 and love it. However, I can't seem to map my Thrustmaster switches to the functions in X-Plane 12. For instance, The master battery switch on the Thrustmaster does not operate the battery master on the 525. I've been through the same routine used successfully on other aircraft but nothing seems to map. I have the same problem with the lights and avionics switches. Can anyone help please? Thank you.
  6. OK, just found another contributor having the same problem in the past. All I had to do was create an empty folder called "x-aviation" in X-Plane12's root, answer the login details as they appear and all went swimmingly.
  7. Hello, When I start X-Plane12 I get a request to enter my X-Aviation email address and password. When I enter these I get a message "Could not save email data". If I clear the error message and the login request from the screen I can run X-Plane12 without further issue so I'm not sure why I get this message. Can anyone cast a light on this issue please as it's rather annoying having to clear the login screen every time I run X-Plane12. Log.txt file attached Thanks Log.txt
  8. That was the ‘simple’ answer I was looking for. Yes, the activation window was hidden beneath the second screen. All sorted now and the TBM is looking great again. Thanks for your help Ben. jim
  9. Ben, I installed the link but it made no difference to the original problem. I’ve installed Gizmo64 into the plugins folder as well as the latest Flywithlua. Other responders are suggesting it’s an activation problem but I can’t agree as I can access the TBM and all its switches/controls. Just can’t get the crash bar to stay up. I’m convinced it’s something simple like a file missing. I can’t find an ‘Activation’ link anyway. I’ve also noticed that there are some symbols in a block running down the right hand side of the screen but the only one which responds to a mouse click is ‘Shell’. Lastly, when I have the TBM on the screen and access the plugins menu at the top then click on Gizmo64, the ‘Actions’ window is greyed out. Is this normal? Thanks again jim
  10. Thanks for the link Ben I’ll give it a try later this week. Sorry for the late reply due to grandparen duties jim
  11. Hello, I'm running X-Plane on Windows 10 and have recently reloaded the TBM 900 from Hotstart after not using it for about a year. I can move the black and yellow battery lever to the up position but it just comes back down again so I cannot start the systems. It always worked in the past but not any more. I've re-installed the aircraft and can operate all the switches using the mouse pointer. To prove I can move switches I checked by opening and closing the door and operating the lights switches, all fine. I've checked the maintenance panel and all systems are green and the battery is fully charged. I have also removed all external equipment (pitot covers, etc). I've re-reinstalled the software, rebooted the pc but can't solve the riddle. Am I being thick and missing something obvious? Thanks Jim
