That's a good idea! Thanks.

I give up. I guess I'm not really cut out to be a "real" CL650 pilot. I've simmed for years, PMDG, lots of other good AC, but this has gotten the better of me. I've been working on it for over a week many hours day and night now and with a continual stream of one thing after another have not gotten a single flight to work properly. Oh well.....lots of other things to have fun with. Thanks for your help.

I restarted the flight and it's working now. Not sure about the beacon light but will check next time.

The last couple of flight attempts the fuel truck never arrives. I'm asking for fueling at the FBO desk upon arrival, and then when it doesn't come after 10-15 minutes, I request again by phone. But still no arrival. What am I doing wrong? I've flown a number of times previously with no issues. And what is a typical wait time for truck arrival? The FBO Service Status says Driving Up.

I did - but my brain has been working overtime on all this stuff - I think that leaked out. I'll re-read.

OK thanks for the info. I will play around with that a bit to get more familiar with it.

I am not understanding the FLPN functionality. After resetting the database I ask for the Simbrief OFP and is shows as loaded. However when I click on LEGS there is nothing there. If I click on Sec Flight Plan the information shows up. I then click Activate and EXEC and I have an operational FP. Why is this going into the secondary FP - and is that OK? Never seen that before.

I see one of the issues can be the Right - good reminder. While we're here - when going through the flight compartment checklist I cannot see the physical visual difference between the STAB TRIM switches being in or out, and there is no indication on the ECAS either way. And regardless of position the yoke trim works. Also I cannot find the STAB TRIM DISC button. MACH TRIM I cannot tell difference between in and out either, but I do see the ECAS warning message.

Ok - that makes sense thanks. I could not get the AP to reengage but that's probably due to not being in the correct state to make that happen. I'll work with this a bit. As other's have remarked the ATS system is not intuitive, pretty complex, and very dissimilar to the AT functionality of Boeing and Airbus AC. But always fun and (frustrating a bit at times) to learn new systems. Thanks for your help - again!

In flying into my destination I found I was way too high so I used the FMC Hold function at PPOS so I could bleed off some altitude. I used the Hold Exit function and from then on my AP lost it, and I couldn't figure out how to properly resume my flight plan. Can you point me to a tutorial or other resource that would be helpful for this? As part of this, I cannot figure out how to recover AP mode. I have an audible warning and a blinking red AP in the middle of the FMA, and I can't figure out how to silence the alarm, or recover AP mode. So two questions here. Thanks.

Ok so I'm not blind or crazy. Thanks. And my first question ?
-
So is this function similar to the Boeing CWS function - controlled wheel steering. Except it will also command pitch. And while I have you, where the heck are the windshield wiper controls. Been up and down the cockpit multiple times and cannot find them.
-
Following the checklist when I try to set 3A to open it won't switch. It will go to Auto, which is where I've set it as a workaround. This has happened several times - in fact I have not been able to open it in a number of flights. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but can't figure it out. Thanks.

Honeycomb Alpha Roll and Pitch Not Working

Thanks! I actually executed my first flight - departure and landing successful! Hand flying this ac is really fun! -

Ok - I just tested this with another AC and it's happening there as well. So not an issue for you to solve. Thanks! Edit: I have another joystick that has roll and pitch configured and for some reason this started blocking the Alpha from working. Nothing changed as far as I know and that has been working fine for months. Anyway, unplugged it and good to go. -

Honeycomb Alpha Roll and Pitch Not Working

Also it looks like the Bravo Throttle Axis isn't working either. The speedbrake, flaps and other controls are working fine. Very weird. Edit: They don't move the cockpit levers during cockpit prep, but they do work at some point later - and for sure after the engines are fired up. -
OK - will do.

My yoke is not functioning for roll and pitch. The XP controller bindings are correct and axis calibrated. The disconnect levers are down. No clue. I've read through the hardware forum and haven't seen anything about this. Edit: I am not using a modified Honeycomb Alpha profile. Just using the native XP bindings.

Yes!! Thanks so much. BTW this AC is unbelievable as many others have noted. Q8Pilot is over the top with this one. Congratulations on producing the most advanced AC ever in the consumer sim arena. And you folks are so responsive with questions and issues on this forum. Amazing. I don't know when you started work on this project, but as a software engineer myself I know this had to be either a lot of work over a long period of time with a small team, or a huge amount of work in a short time period with a large team! Either way - you did it! I look forward to future products from you folks.

No - RTX 3080ti. It's only the glass panels.

Title pretty much says it - rapid period flickering.

I am following tutorials and videos and have run into an issue with bleed air. The APU LCV and ISOL valves won't open. I see in a post from last year that these won't open if the Engine Bleed is on. In looking at the Study Doc for the 14th Stage Bleed System I see that the Right and Left Bleed SOV are both open. I'm assuming those are the Engine Bleeds? If so, the L and R switches are up/off. And pushing them does not actuate the valves either way according to the real-time diagram. The PACK switches will go on, but I assume they are not actually doing anything without bleed air from the APU or Engines? And possibly related to that the DUCT MON switch will not move in any direction. Thanks in advance for your help.

And this is the only aircraft in years of flight simming that I've had an issue with. Including with this security software running.
