  1. Thank you so much for the encouragement, you can come live with me and we can work on the Mooney together.
  2. I've been a loyal fan of EVGA for many, many years. I have their 1000W supply. And most of their other products. Broke my heart when they got into some tiff with nVidia and stopped making gpu's the 3090 being the last one. I bought the nvidia 4090fe mostly due to size constraints. I an 83 years old, retired 34 years ago, purchased and moved onto a motor yacht, presently in St Maarten, Dutch West Indies in the Caribbean. As you must imagine, other than expenses associated with this boat, I have little to spend money on which enables the ability to buy whatever hardware I need to fly X-Plane since I miss having owned my own aircraft , a Mooney which I purchased new in 1967 and have more than 10,000 hours of pilot in command time in that aircraft and many others. Kind of a special case. I have all but begged Coop to complete and release the updated Mooney's, please before I die.
  3. Yes they are awful expensive, I went from a EVGA RTX3090 to the 4090 and of-course with a big jump in performance. The RTX5090's are right around the corner and I am looking forward to what they say is a 48% increase over my 4090. My current settings are max on the left side(2xMSAA) and right side max except Render distance and World objects both on 'high'. CPU is clocked at 6ghz. memory at 6000.
  4. Just saw your post, I am running an i9 14900k, EVGA 690 Dark Kingpin, 64gb DDR5, nVidia RTX4090fe from SSD's. HP Reverb G2 I loaded the Citation with 8k textures and the system runs smoothly, no stutters or tearing. I fly VR only and can't at this moment give you FPS since I have not turned on OpenXR. Flights were from KPDK to KATL (Nimbus) to KFFC were I kept my Mooney. I don't know if this information helps you but to Coop I do not see any real difference between this and any of my TorqueSim products or any other aircraft that I fly.
  5. Thanks for your help, I am on the very high end - EVGA Z690 Dark Kingpin i9 12900k, 64gb 6000mhz memory, nVidia RTX 4090 FE, 8tb SSD storage, Thrustmaster Hotas controls. I fly only VR via HP Reverb G2v2 Looks like it gets us all, happens to me every time unless I load another aircraft first. Most of the time the DC3 freezes X-Plane 12 once into the cockpit but before the load is complete, looking out the cockpit window it appears you are about 50 ft up pointed at the ground. I then get an hourglass and can move the mouse cursor around until I left click, then the screen saturates and you are stuck in that condition until you end task xp12. All this occurs before I attempt to enter VR. logs are attached, if I can provide anything further please ask. Log.txt DC3.log
  6. It seems to be the necessity to load a default aircraft first, then the DC3. Is it known exactly what the issue is with XP12/load aircraft? this is the only aircraft that I have ever experienced this problem.
  7. I have the same problems, can't switch battery and magnetos etc. I had the initial problem of freezing after loading to cockpit with the activation window open. I have all the X-Aviation products less the Challenger and have never experienced problems like I have had so far with this DC3. Can someone please check my activation status if that is what these symptoms point to. No indication of any problem in the dc3.log. Suggest adding an entry for activation failure.
