  1. Correct. Absolutely true what you mention here. I actually always require some quite high pitch values. This does not diminish the joy of flying in the BN2 but it just seems a bit unnatural. For example after reducing power to a climb rating of 2400RPM at 24 in MAP I still need 10° pitch to maintain a climb out speed of 85kts.
  2. Hi everybody, I do enjoy flying the islander a lot! A very beautiful aircraft with lots of features and a good documentation. However the pitch required to maintain Vmcl 65kts during takeoff and climb out is very high, up to 15°. Can anybody confirm that these high values are required in the real aircraft as well? I watched several real life videos of islanders and even though it is hard to see in mots of them the pitch values seem to be significantly lower. Would be great to hear your thoughts... Sebastian
