Well.. the passengers has now a place to sit down!! All the modelling of the CRJ is finished!!! Now Graphically only textures refining, and the Cabin one. This is only ilumination texture of the cabin. The good one in a days....

any I think.... Well... My computer is a Intel Quad Core 6600, Nvidia 8800 GTS (360mb) 2 years computer old (the firsts 8800.. that where slowers than the newer 8800), and 3 gb ram, on xp sp3. I have on a clear day 40-50 fps on cockpit (outside is more). With cloulds less.. but the same as other aircrafts. On vista on my work on other computer.. I have on 9.30 b8 40 fps or so. So for now.. no problem on performance.

Give me ideas! I have officially ran out!
Japo32 replied to liv4deth95's topic in Plugin Development
an FSpassengers like plugin (with airplane maintenance) A services at airport plugin A loading directly from google earth the photos plugin (not making first) A tree collision plugin (object collision) A any-sound with datarefs play plugin A better particles visual system plugin A better clouds (3D clouds system) A copilot plugin in Ivao (not only direct IP) lots of them!! -
Hello all!! I return from my weekend vacactions with my 30 members family!!! (woooww!!! hehehe). Well.. First of all I would make a little of publicity to myself. You have the Javelin. Fast not too big and really really really good to make VFR because the cockpit is full class around. I don't know what do you think but I have a lot of costummers happy with it (not all because all people are not 100% happy with anything you do.. so this is not my intention. I just wanted to make a really good plane for 20$ or so and there it is. Now, the CRJ... Well.. I just don't want to release a beautifull face but without a good plane inside. I know it can be expensive to have a good plane. Imagine program an FMS like the real one. Systems like the real one, flight dynamics like the real one, and failures system like the real one. Still we don't know the final price. First we have to end it, see how is it done, and the price it worth. But for sure, if it would be expensive, for sure, we would discuss ways of making cheaper options to have it. Don't know. Don't be afraid still of it.. Just see how far we can work on this plane (it is going very very very good) and then lets talk about money, etc... etc.. etc... I am not making this because money for sure. My first important thing is having fun making planes the way I like. I asked to my normal job a time reduction of 2 hours less. I earn less money, and the Javelin still haven't paid the 4 months of hard work (and the patches). Of course I am not stupid and I like money like other people do, but for letting me live, pay my house, travel a little (important) ... and the purpose of this is to leave my "normal" job and do what I like by myself (well with help of people, but at the same level). And with this, I can say the animations on the plane are almost finished (90%) and I am going to start with the cabin stuff. Parallel with systems programming etc.. etc.. etc.. WIP.. you know!!.. hehe best!!

The Crossville on tenessee on fsx I think is best.. Well you know.. fsx on graphics is very very good. I like the way the trees distribute on that place.
-
We are trying to simulate anything is inside the plane.. And of course the FMS is my intention to be programed also. Don't know how still but yes. Now, almost the 95% of the graphics of the 3D cockpit are finished.. and the 90% of all animations (upper exit scape also ;D ) with manipulators... just drag and open things... As soon as new datarefs comes all will start to be very very very beautifull and functional inside. I have great support of Cameron, Tom and Ben.. and also I have 2 real spanish CRJ pilots helping me so much!. I am happy!
-
Thanks!.. we are working hard to make this plane stunning, as you say. There is no visual work to show now. Just animating everything. Listing new custom datarefs, constructing the manipulators. After that (finishing all those things this week), I will make the night textures, windows textures, and build the cabin, while testing the systems that Ben will program. After all of that, then comes the correction of bugs, refining and making the documentation with tutorials (I though a posibility of video tutorials). The Documentation is going to be a good number of pages!! And finally liveries. Hope there is a final 9.30 version when the plane is released, but no incoming 9.40.. because all modifications on a new version of x-plane can delay the release. Maybe there are people that cannot wait to the release, but believe me we are working so hard on this everyday to release it as quick as we can, but not with not bad rush. The project started on 15 January, so it is only 3 months. I planed 4-5 months. Lets see....
-
Hello, Pyrite and sorry for the delay. As Indy, told you I was sleeping. If it would be Mon-Fri then at that hour I would awake already but on Saturday I have worked so hard along the week so I stays at bed longer hehe I hope you can download it fast and ok, but I think now you would be sleeping! Well.. the frames for the Javelin are good. I have flought it on my xp 3 gb ram, 8800 gts 320mb and is from 25 on big airports (but all the planes I have are the same) to 60 in the middel of mountains.. etc.... The 9.30 beta is not ready so if you want to fly with the Javelin you have to fly still with the 9.21 or 9.22. No more. When Laminar releases the 9.30 final, I will implement a patch to make it fly-able.. and later.. I will make other upgrades to this baby. Best!!

no problem.. http://www.xpluginsdk.org/pilot_view.htm If you have the Javelin, you can test it with the views it has....
-
Nils, if you install pilot view, you can define several camera positions, accesible with a key stroke. If you put those cameras perperdicular to the panels, and tick the option to not move the camera, then you have an "2D" panel. You can have that on every plane, right now. On my Javelin, I put that option, for people that don't like 3D cockpits like you. I think is a good solution for all. But.. maybe there will be tipicla 2D panels as usual.

Well.... there is no much visual advance on the plane. All are animations and planning custom datarefs for the plane. Studying the systems, etc.. I have just started with the upper pannel after finishing the central panel, and made some of the buttons... By night the cockpit starts to be cool (is going to be fun to iluminate it)...
-
Yes.. No problem X-Aviation will make the programming for the FMS. The Real one inside the CRJ. Not only that.. but the systems inside the plane. I am making now the animations of all the switches and buttons. Have already tested with manipulators and work like charm. You can handdle the plane with the mouse only. Of course is better to have an Joystick but is the best I have seen (this way of manipulate things inside the cockpit) I have ever seen on flight simulation. Very intuitive and easy.
-
yes.. also put it on big, pressing the button next to HD. You will see it better.
-
You are welcome about the music He is really good. About the reflexions on the windows... yes.. they would have. Of course not real reflexions, because x-plane cannot do it (maybe with a plugin.. don't know) but yes.... and the screens will have little dirt on the borders to make them more real. The project is comming alive every day in little steps growing better and better!

Inside x-plane first animations, first testings...
-
I think, the only module that is compatible with x-plane is the multiradio module. I would like to have the MCP for x-plane for sure!! I think they are very very very cool!

RealScenery Tennessee - Preview Images - Pre-Processed
Japo32 replied to RealScenery's topic in Tennessee - Released!
wow!! a shame I don't usually fly over USA... It would be nice to see those landscapes over Spain! -
The planes as says Cameron has 40.000 polygons. I was scared a bit at the begining because I am from the old school fo games development, but I saw it had no problem. Well. The cockpit is 30.000 and the plane 10.000. In clear skies with just landscape I have 40-50 inside the cockpit (still not systems screens running). On great Barajas conversion I have 29.. that is the usual I have with the rest of planes. The main problem could be texture sizes and number.. but no problem also. Now It is tested with transparency, on x-plane 9.21 and I have 35 inside and outside.. and on 9.30 b7, 19fps on insbruck (LOWI) but I also have that with the Javelin.. but flying... I have 45-50. So it goes really well!! My computer: Intel 6600 Quad, Nvidia 8800 gts (320mbs), 3 gb ram, Windows XP sp3.

here is some shots I took some time ago...... still can be better than here (these shots don't show the cockpit done as you see in the video): no smoothing groups inside... has to make them next step, so it will look much better in the final product.
-
no.. that is not x-plane rendered.. It is the 3D program... BUT without any light. Is the same it is seen on the viewport. I didn't wanted to make any FX on it. You can see how it is inside x-plane on some captures I have on WIP. X-plane is a little bit darker but with gamma on 9.30 it can be seen very similar. The next step for x-plane is put HDR inside.. That way you could see it like like real photos. Soon I will post inside x-plane screens....
-
I told you on direct conversation, but I want to tell you here also... This is great!!! This is a big step for X-Plane. Not only for this instrument, but because you can see it where ever you want. So There won't be more optical clients!!! ;D

Yes.. Still there is no money talk about it. Still the project is not finished.. (I know I told you a POSSIBLE range.. but never 70$ ) but is going in the right direction. Could be so much variation.. and ways of selling it... For now, I forget about price.. Only enjoy the way constructing it. Of course it will have the price that worth it. And for now the only big number it has is the number of hours I work on this. That is the secret to be quick. But don't worry about the price. Could be that... couldbe less.. couldbe more.. could be two prices (one with more systems and expensive and other cheaper but less).. don't know.. sooo many variations... even discounts on the future.. I don't know. But the only thing I know is I want to make it good.
