  1. heheheeh. But don't forget ANTON the programmer!!! 3 hipSSS for ANTON!!!! HIP HIP HURRAAAA!! hehehe.. anyway. about serius things.. I don't wan't to create a Hipe. There was a post on the spanish forum that someone asked me if I was going to release the plane before 2010. I said.. Of course!!! I don't want this to because 2010 odissey 2!! well.. I had to eat my words, and why I miss that? Because I never did a big project like this. I can control my timetable but when more people is comming then timetables are different and of course like they have to be. So... I won't say "of course the plane will be never 4 years development" but PLEASEEEEEEEE I PRAY FOR NOT!!! AND RELEASE BEFORE SUMMER!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! hhaahahhaha. anyway.. I think we are closer to beta.. but better don't speak to loud... not to be heard by "bad-lucky man"
  2. This is a period of slooooowwww avance. We are closing to the beta and concentrated on PFD and autopilot modes. Sorry for the wait. we are the first that want to finish the CRJ. But it will worth it.
  3. Hello... Well I tested when 9.50 beta was outside.. and now already and both times the GPS works perfectly. No problem at all. But maybe that bug is from Laminar, becuase I use their GPS for representation on the Seamax. I suggest you never fly on beta versions, because I never give support on beta ones (I can fix something on beta than latter won't work on another beta one...) Anyway.. you can report a bug here: http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html for sure must be something about Laminar and your hardware. If it was working before and now on a new version of x-plane not.. then is something pointing that direction. About the 1.3 version on the acf is wrong. I made a mistake there. It is 1.2 version. 1.3 version is the Javelin.
  4. Didn't saw this one. Yes.. but not now. On future if everything is ok.. then we will develope a failure system.. but for now the failures will be inside x-plane simulator. Anyway.. while flying making testings of stall speeds, altitude reachings, modifying airfoils.. etc.. I saw this beautifull sunset.
  5. hahaha.. that is not desired from us. I know that FX is when you see an screen from a video camera because different frame rate it capture the screens.. but on real eye.. you won't never see that. The flickering stuff is because performance programming medium stage. At the end they will be like the pilot one.. hehehe.. but if there are so many people asking for that maybe Anton could make an option on the FMS to activate or dissactivate this!.. hehehe... About rain. Right now the rain is stays there independently of speed of the plane. I will try to make speed one.. but maybe I won't be abble. I just wanted not only to make an cool fx.. but also something is important while flying.. to clean visibility if it is raining. The only place you would see rain is on 2D panel (never know you cannot clean that rain with wippers. Never fly on 2D panels).. so I did it for that. Also there is ice on window.. where you cannot see anything if all the window is freezed (well.. are little parts with low visibility). So... I will try to implement speed rain.. but not promise.

    Rain on CRJ

well it is not easy to do.. the best way should be Laminar would implement animated textures, or maybe better a particle defection system.. but this one was made dividing the windshield in little squares.. that appear or dissappear on time.. mixed with others.. to seem to be randomize. And other geometry animated with dataref that are the drops. for donation.. you can go to my page: www.jrollon.com And on the page of the texan there is a donation link. There everybody can donate. Really thanks!!!

    Rain on CRJ

More explanation on CRJ forum... best!
  8. New little video to make you more confortable the wait. It is taking longer that I expected (almost it is a year and 1 month from the beginning) but it is how it has to be. Programming is not an easy task, and now every new feature programmed has to be tested, fly and corrected, to be tested again. And not only on windows, but also on mac (linux version will come later). So please be patience. Anyway.. here is the video. It is a feature I haven't seen on other planes on x-plane, but I wanted to see on the CRJ. If nothing is changed on x-plane 9 or 10 version, it will be the same because I use a trick on x-plane to do it. best!
  9. good to know. It can solve same problems to others. Thanks for sharing your solution!
  10. well.. like always I say.... If the computer is not loaded to the last data.. fly by hand. So PILOT a bit. Yes.. I know that maybe are VORs that are not on the data you have.. but for sure is easy to create a new Radio Aid without paying. If you don't want to pay the Airac Data.. then you (all.. not talking about only one person) have the 2006 or whatever free one. You won't have Real Sids, Stars or even airways.. but you can find the real maps on internet so you can program fixes on the FMS to be the same as the updated data, and with the ARR/DEP procedures.. you can do the same. Anyway.. I think this is not a cheap hobby. How many money I have paid to have my joystick, track ir, good computer, radio hardware and planes and airports? If someone wants to have all those things you have to pay the work. Of course there is free option but not always is covered and supported that way. But as we say in my country. Nunca llueve a gusto de todos (never rains for everyone happiness) ;D
  11. Hello. Could V.Roske, please put in contact with me again on my email? I have sent you the information of the Javelin to download but there was 3 errors sending the e-mail. don't know why. thanks.
  12. A words to this guy in my Languaje...
  13. do the pedals move if you apply the brakes? What I have found.. is that maybe you don't have plugins.. but you put another aircraft that it has.. fly before with it.. and then later it continues to have that plugin that affect the brakes. What I know is that the problem is not on the Javelin.. is in your configuration.. but we have to find it how to solve it. Ok.. download the demo. Install in other place.. and put the javelin in that demo. See what happens.
  14. Any Aid always is welcome! and that program would be really apreciated. We have lots of documentation and videos.. but sometimes we have questions about the behaviour of things. At tat point we ask the pilots that I know and they reply to us (sometimes even they don't know ) So more aids the better.
  15. Ok.. here they are. ON the MFD Anton Deactivated the route line to see better the points on the screen. I have chosen the Init page for the FMS because you can see the legs also on the MFD. Still things to do. The main core is done, Anton is refining things and we are starting to test things. Still the plane cannot fly a route because not all autopilot modes are done, but I hope soon the first complete flight of the plane will be possible to do. The second screen is the visual GPU. Well it is on the middle of the runnway. We will se if it is only possible to have GPU power on parking place.
  16. Yes... Working and working.. and working... and never ending work... Still things to do, but Anton is starting to play with sound engine to reproduce sounds. We have plenty of sounds of the CRJ recorded from Cameron or real pilots that gave to me!! It is going to be great
  17. Well first of all I would say to you that update if it possible to 9.44. The plane is working on last version of x-plane. About questions: 1) you should be able to stop the plane on a short airfield and of course on Heathrow!!! First of all never exceed the final speed 150 knots. Then put airbrake (you have to map the function to a joystick button) and apply landing gears brakes. You will land it. Also it is a good manouver to land with the rear gears only and "show" the wing all the fusselage and wings to stop it. 2) Yes.. there it is not too much confortable to manage the radios. I have a hardware radio stuff so I never have those problems but for those that don't have it, I made several view points predefined for Pilot view plugin. If you switch to the F3 view then you will be closer to the radio and you would be able to manage it better. But after the release of the CRJ I will change the way you tune radios with manipulators. 3) you are right once more time. I have to delete that ghost stuff. It was for testing. Ok.. a minute............... ok.. here you have: http://www.jrollon.com/ATGJavelin_cockpit.rar I have delete that ghost stuff and also made the tune radios knob selector bigger to make it more confortable. Still not the same as a manipulator.. but now you will be able to chose big rotates plus and minus.
  18. Yes that page is really great. A shame only is for North America.
  19. yes.. You can find and make routes here: http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ but to make a flight plan you need data sheets of the airports and airways where you are flying.. so for example here on Spain you can find all info of the Spanish airspace here: http://www.aena.es/csee/Satellite?MO=2&SMO=1&Section=7&SiteName=NavegacionAerea&c=Page&cid=1078418725020&pagename=subHome you can put it on english and you have to register to have access. But for sure your country won't be Spain. Each country has a page like the one it was shown above. All for free. But if you don't want to look for information, you can try the Jeppview program.. that have all info you need to make routes. About which altitude choose.. well it depends on weather (winds) heigh of the plane and fuel consumption. Here, you can see the weather maps around the world for free: http://www.jeppesen.com/aviation/personal/aviation-weather.jsp It is not easy to tell how to teach in this lines how to do it.. but you can ask here or on any of the hundreds of forums of aviation exists on internet. I hope I understood your question well to reply it.

Boum Boum (Enigma, Chicane version) http://www.goear.com/listen/8a524f0/boum-boum-(other-version)-enigma
  22. Yes.. maybe will be easy to make the clean lufthansa version. For other asking take a look on the liveries already done.. you have renderings of them on pages before this one.
  23. It is already done...
  24. Yes.. I will put several PilotView presets on the CRJ with Overpanel, central panel, radios, Autopilot.. etc... So you only have to click a key on keyboard to navigate throught them... and the camera won't move while flying. So is the same as a 2D panel. The reason I didn't make a 2D panel is because already there are so many good planes out there with 2D panels.. and because I am a lover of 3D views. The main reason I started making planes on x-plane was the first day I flough the Texan. I said.. "yes.. this is good.. but no real sensation". After flying on other simulators with 3D cockpit I couln't go backwards.. so I build the Cockpit for the Texan, that you can download on my website for free. The rest is just history.... and I believe if you love the flight simulators, one day you have to try TrackIR and fly on a 3D cockpit. Once you manage with trackir, you cannot fly other way! There was a problem before manipulators technology to handle buttons and radios on 3D.. but now the solution is perfect.
