if you start from engines running you can't insert the coordinates, it has to be done in cold and dark. But you have to set IRS to nav position.if not you won't be able to introduce coordinates -

You have to have different plugins in both folders so maybe still you can have problems. this is an installer issue. Has to be resolved by cameron., but out seems other users are ok in this.... -

do what Philipp said.. but also check you have inside Resources/plugins folder these folders and directories: liblinux (folder) QtCore.framework (folder) lin.xpl mac.xpl QtCore4.dll win.xpl ??? Philipp.. please check also Redfisher one!! Thanks -
right now we are not planning to do that. Imagine how hard has been reach this point.. to make a simple installer.. so make a 10 minutes demo is not planned for now. Of course I know there will be other "demos" for full time, but you know.. if you all want see more planes like this on the future from me.. then I need to pay Teo (my future born child) bills. If they are paid through the selling of this plane, then I will have the strong to build more. If not, then....... bon voyage my friends.... This is my last bet. All or nothing.

In order to deal with support questions ASAP, you need to provide AT LEAST the following information: -Operating System version -X-Plane version -installed 3rd-party plugins -Log.txt (from X-Plane main folder) (send it through an attach on the forums) For questions regarding operating procedures it is also beneficial to provide the following: In order to help you we need information about: -Weather -Flight plan -Position -Flight phase Recomendation!! If the plane crashes to desktop when loading it.. if you have installed twice.. do it a third time with a new demo of x-plane installed. Usually these CTD comes from plugin conflict. That way we ensure you have everything on the Demo clean from other plugin parties. Thanks! Another recomendation!!! Please read the known bugs list and "BEFORE YOU POST YOUR BUG....." posts. Maybe your problem is already resolved and we won't be mad aswering same solutions again. Thanks

how do you fell the performance.. the plane.. pics... please and comments.. Thanks!

[SOLVED] CRJ-200 installed then x-plane crashed
Japo32 replied to Hover's topic in Version 1.0 Support - Closed!
anyway.. if it fails.. just send it attached on the forum (the log.txt) also it would be nice you install it over a demo version of xplane.. that way we ensure not other plugins are having problems with the CRJ. So please download the demo and checkit out. If you are using windows say the C++ to uninstall it.. and then install again.. the crj installing this time from zero the c++ thanks! -

ok... it is needed to see the log.txt (send it better attached here on the forums and also the crash-log.txt please) the tester only check that people will be able to see opengl with screens. We have to see why it is happening this problem to you. -
Navigraph Data Available for the CRJ
Japo32 replied to stweaver321's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
Well.. I work on Laminar Research also, and I feel there very very confortable and it is a great group, that must say all from the begging has been really great and hope I can continue with them for long. But if you talk about my partners on this CRJ200 project I must say that maybe we didn't have the money but for sure none PMDG, none Microsoft, none other big company had more illusion than us making it. And sometimes it is not a problem paying a bit of more time consuming to release something if it is released and we made it with illusion and LOVE... because I must say, this CRJ was made with LOVE and CARE in little details. If not, we wouln't be talking right now about the CRJ soon release. anyway.. this is just because the wait. Lets Cameron work (any reply from Cameron here are minutes away from the CRJ installers). -

well it is easy... the most easy things takes a lot of time. This is not a cessna instalation... Even Cameron has other things to work also.. he is not 100% time making the CRJ... .. because there are other costumers that maybe don't like the CRJ and just are the same important as the ones on CRJ part. So.. just please relax! Thanks -

Ok.. so better don't buy our CRJ because I don't believe costumers just because having money have the truth. I believe you must relax.. and if one day you consider you want to fly our plane not making comparisons between FSX or what other company did compared with us, then you are welcome to buy it (when is out) Now I fell you see a competition here.. so if you don't like it the way it is done in X-Plane compared with FSX then you are going to be against us.. because we didn't do the right way. Sorry but this is Philipp, Anton, Javier and Cameron way... Sorry not be like PMDG or airsimmer... Thanks! -

another consideration of time needed to make things. Microsoft.. IBM..... well... the bigger company I have been working on is Crytek.. on Germany.... BUT believe me... when you don't have such ammount of money for the projects those companies have, the time to complete something is 3, 4 or even more times bigger. It is not the same model a plane (the CRJ was ended modelling in 3-4 months with texture and animation) than export everything and make it work! When you don't have money to pay people (Only another crazy guy like you programming in his free time), when you don't have a place to meet those poeple, and everyone is working on several locations around the world.. where you have to meet by 3am to talk with someone.... it is hard man.. VERY HARD!!! So believe me also to me I know what I am talking about ALSO! EDIT: I also didn't change the charma.. Even.. I don't know how to do it!!! hahaha -

Japo32 replied to stweaver321's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
Believe me... First nothing is Stupid because I don't like hear nobody is stupid, even if I am stupid Second this is not marcheting strategy because if I where so smart (I am not stupid but also not so smart) then I would be really rich, or better positioned on a comertial company making those marchetings... Third. I repeat again.. I never promised anything.. maybe the only promised was to try to make my work as good as I could. And I said, "maybe I think we can release it in one month or so" that is not a promise.. just an calculation (but even still I believe we are in that month). Fourth. I don't want compete with FSX or any other software. I make my products the way I would like to see them. When I work on a company I make the products the way they want. So, I can make mistakes. Believe me making this CRJ is not an easy task.. If you are desperate waiting, multiply your desperation x 1 million, and you have my desperation several times it was near cancelling. Fith. If anyone don't want to buy our plane.. No problem. We are not going to try to convince anyone. Time will say if the plane is good or not. So you can return again, when you want. You will be welcome if you buy the plane "today" or in a year. But for me you will be welcome always when you come friendly. cheers, Javier. -

Navigraph Data Available for the CRJ
Japo32 replied to stweaver321's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
Please, wait with replacing the navdata until after the tutorial flight!!! The tutorial flight requires a "virgin" installation of the CRJ, as we rely on the procedures approaching Valencia. If you replace them with newer data, you might not be able to fly the approach described in the tutorial, since the database has changed. It means of course, the approach has changed in the real world sometime ago... So, please: Fly the tutorial flight, BEFORE applying the new navdata. Frankly, I'd recommend flying the tutorial at least twice before doing anything else! The CRJ is an aircraft that requires quite a bit of learning. Javier himself once complained about a "bug" to me, when in fact he was doing something wrong Philipp hahaha.. yes yes... "Philipp... WTF!!!! the autopilot is not working!! why!!!???".. mmmm.. did you connect Yaw Dampers?... "EH.....no... glups!!! " hahahaha Yes.. on new approaches to Valencia they deleted the CENTA1C approach. That means.. that if they did on new revision, then you couldn't fly the tutorial correctly. So better fly it (the tutorial) EVEN IF YOU ARE A REAL PILOT OF THE CRJ because I remember it again!!! THIS IS OUR CRJ VERSION OF THE REAL CRJ. I mean.. yes.. it has lots of things as real.. BUT are little things not as the real BECAUSE THIS IS A SIMULATION so... better do the tutorial first before asking us: "X is not working!!! why???!!! is it a bug???!!" About CRJ release............................ .................... .................................. ......................................... ................................... hahahahaha.. .................. ........ NOT GOING TO SAY ANYTHING! (I also am nervous about it!) -
Will the CRJ work on my hardware? Test available!
Japo32 replied to Cameron's topic in Canadair CRJ-200 - Released!
If you make those things Simon and still not working, then... drivers drivers and drivers... new ones... a little older if not.. Always are the same.. the graphics cards.... in this case 99.9999% is becasue the graphic cards... and their drivers. That W2753 graphic card is strange to me.... yes yes.. I know maybe people would say "but it works perfect on xplane with opengl and other opengl applications" Yes.. I know... but this plane is using a different opengl solution... qt libraries.. etc.... so... DRIVERS, DRIVERS AND DRIVERS.... Lets see if you can solve it! -
well as said.. I never promised in any of my projects that I would release the "plane" a date, or even.. that I would release it!.. I repeat again the phrase: "step by step" and when I see the final goal door, then I can make a prediction of what should take... but not promise. Anyway.. here in this side, we have worked a lot. Lots of hours put on the plane. First me. Then Anton, then Philipp, then again me and Philipp.. and now Cameron. Too much work effort that maybe is not seen by people outside and that some of them maybe think we are going slowly. As said sleeping 5-6 hours several days (or even less) 7 days a week.. and for several months continously is not easy to prepare people to release raising the bar.. and maintain that bar not too high to not make people desperate about it. I repeat.. if you are anxious about the release imagine us. YOU ARE GOING TO FLY OUR CREATION!! That is an honnor for us.. and we want to make things right but not PERFECT! just RIGHT! so.. in those we are! and still I HOPE this week would come the plane.. but if it doesn't come.. it is not a delay.. it is an unexpected situation that will be a new learning for us. Maybe 1 week "delay" is 1 month less problems for all. soooo.. hehehe.. just a little more wait... no fingertips?? ;D

Read my post in the general discussion forums... lets try to avoid claims that are not absolutely certain. Hence his use of the word "hope" prefacing his desire/sentiment for a release this week, but hardly a claim. Appropriate given the fact that remaining issues surrounding release are in the hands of others. Yes, this is a team.. and becasue of that, one make the graphics, other makes the programming and other makes the installer. Now is in the hands of the installer, but it seems that everythign is going well. But until you go through the goal gate, everything can happen.
