  1. You are welcome!
  2. ahhh about nhancer.. well they changed with new drivers from nvidia.... now is Nvidia inspector... works the same.. and you will have better graphics at a less performance impact for your computer. best!
  3. well I would like to make a video of the starting process on the 747 I am making.. so that would be better than a pic.. but first I will ask Austin and second I will end the cockpit. About the update of the Mentor, I HOPE that x-aviation UPLOAD it soon.
  4. Yes.. sorry for the impatience.... .hehe.. the files where just sent yesterday to Cameron so he could not upload so fast.. but he will for sure. But I wanted to list all the changes made on the planes to let you see that all planes has a support behind and that I didn't forget about the Mentor, just because I had the bad news of the CRJ project frozen. For sure all 3 planes are going to be supported by me on future x-plane 10 release. Remember that I make some planes for x-plane 10 so I understand quite well how to make them work correctly there. Right now I have the 3 versions of them working on x-plane 10 alpha.
  5. yes.. both versions are on the update and the reason is quite simple. Lukasz one was made by himself and he decided he wanted to share with all for free. But I only will give support on the JRollon one. Lets say is like having an extra. On future patches I will upgrade the Lukasz also if I find it possible but because Lukasz changed lots of things maybe are thing people don't like compared with JRollon version.... So every complain or congratulation donation, etc.. to Lukasz have to be said to him (the email will be included). about what is easyer... I believe Lukasz is easyer to fly than mine. But that doesn't mean that mine is more realistic. Believe me I never flought a Mentor. I would like!!! any offer?? ;D
  6. well I have been working a lot for Laminar 747 cockpit....
  7. Hello all. I am proud to announce the ending of the first update of the Mentor. The 1.1 version. It has been long developing because for the first time it includes a plugin inside for 3 versions (linux, windows and mac) and I had to fight to understand how compilate. Also there is a colaboration of Lukasz redoing some of the air dynamics of the plane to behave more like the real one. So.. here are the list of changes done: JRollon 1.1 version: 1. Now the rain appears or dissappears when it is not raining. Still the button to make it hide is available. 2. Landing lights auto switch off when landing gear doors are closing. You won't be able to switch them on when LG are retracted. 3. Real Gmeter done. It record your maximun and minimun gs. You can reset them with new button added on gauge. 4. Added steer to the front Landing gear. Now all of those that don't have differential brakes will be able to steer the plane 5. Now you can tune the radios normally. Forget about all those tricks you had to made. POWER OF PROGRAMMING!!! Lukasz 1.1 version. This plane also includes the jrollon modifications. 1. Modification on Speed and GLoad limits 2. Better engine general performance 3. Modified propeller data and shape 4. Very close to real engine and propeller inertia 5. Added torque limiter as in real plane 6. Added inverted fuel system as in real plane (the real plane does not have this but Lukasz liked to have it) 7. Added beta range 8. Changed propeller condition lever behaviour a little 9. Highly accurate specific fuel consumption 10. Idle fuel flow and torque almost as in reality 11. Reduced exhaust gases visibility 12. Complete rebuilt of electrical systems, to reflect real Mentor as much as possible within default X-Plane modeling 13. Tuned various engine and systems related limits 14. Rebuilt wings: added incidence, geometry twist, 15. Complete overhaul of airfoils for main wings, with the help of real world aerodynamic data 16. Removed tail vertical fins (it's impossible to properly replicate them and they have marginal impact anyway). On internal model 17. Fuselage drag coefficient 18. Controls geometry 19. Complete rebuilt of flaps, with the help of real world aerodynamic data (they don't go by dents points) 20. Controls phase-out 21. Trim adjustments 22. Gear produces more drag when lowered 23. Added custom inertia (radii of gyration) 24. Changed weights and balance 25. Added automatic cowl flaps as in real plane 26. Added more grip on wheels, so the plane stays put when full power is applied I have just send the files to x-aviation so I think they will upload as fast as they can, so you will be able to see it soon on your computers. Thanks for all your support! JRollon Planes.
  8. yes.. you already had the plane the same day 1-2 hours later when you bought it. For future costummers buying on my website, maybe you will have to wait a little until I see the email.. .but I always send the data. Thanks!
  9. Still doing 3D... later I will see.. If I can manage to program myself something I will do.. but little things.
  10. Well I prefer that laminar post pictures about it, but the hump still is the same. I am working on 3d cockpit
  11. yes, sure! as soon as the 747 of Laminar gives me time (too hard work on that right now) I will. Sorry for the time delaying on that.
  12. of course I am not going to delete anything.... All is there.. and yes.. to someone that would know how to program I think the plane could be fully ended it on 2 months or so. The problem is find the one that wants to make it for a percent.. of the sellings, not too high because Anton would be paid also with a percent (maybe 20% for the new programmer) and that is strongger enough to understand the code.. and do a CONSTANT COMUNICATED work, with talkings with me every Monday and Friday (and the necesaries to understand it). And of course it is not going to be the first that says me "I can do it". I will ask him.... "did you do it before?" and are you CONSTANT? really really very difficult to find someone like that. But not.. nothing is deleted. Even the 320 model. I still have my first space ambulance I made 15 years ago.
  13. maybe but this project becomed to vaporware because I was bad as chief not been so much hard on it to my programmer. But it don't give me nothing.. It has given me a lot of contacts, learning, etc... Hope the CRJ and the Airbus will come out. But I need real support. Strong and constant support. Not only enthusiastic. And I don't have the money to hre a programmer, and the 30-40 years old guys that know how to programm you can count them with the fingers of a leprosy
  14. 320 was posponed a long ago... The deal was.. Anton you make me the programming of the CRJ, Then I will make you the model of the 320 he was doing.
  15. I have to announce somethign that I didn't want to do and that I have fought with all my energy, to not reach. After a totally unstable personal situation of my programmer, and waited for 7 months the recovery of him, I have decided end the professional relationship with him. I have the source code, but I don't understand it. Of course this code is property of Anton Volkov and if someone ends the programming based on Anton's work, Anton would receive a percent (still to determinate) of the sellings. But the real situation is that the CRJ is almost death. I asked before the support of Austin on the CRJ and he was decided to not let it down. But really don't believe that he could raise it, because he has xplane 10 programming and support before the CRJ. So unless someone takes a real and strong position on the programming of the CRJ, I will leave the plane on the folders of my HDD as the great promise that never was. Sorry for all the inconveniences and the illusion I made to all of you. And for sure, thanks for your support. That was the strongest arm of this project. Thanks.
  16. Ok this is the position Anton should be doing right now. It could take no more than 1 month completing all of this but also could take a whole year, depending on regularity of work and the main weak point of the CRJ project is the regularity workflow. Anton should be working on completing the FMS. Of the Things Done I still haven't seen any plugin but I will be able to see it soon, because he is working on Mac and this christmass I received a iMac present... so no more windows version compiling waits. FMS workflow: Very Important things to complete: 7. PROG page and do it also on MFD display (6 hours) 8. Directs (dir intc) (also if the point is not set on route, show disconnet and program how to solve it) (6 hours) 9. LEGS (Define your fix waypoint to reach. delete... etc..) (8 hours) 10.HOLDs page (holdings and hipodrome) Show on MFD (8 hours) 11.VNAV (descent) (4 hours) less important stuff do to: 12.MCDU MENU (player choise) IRS set minutes simulation (instant, 2min, 10min) GPU (still not to do but leave the option there) Performance choose frame per second displays (Still not do but leave the option there) leave spaces for maybe more adds. 13. Index Irs ctl link arrival data to arrival page 14. FLT LOG 15. MSG 16. Flight plan (scale good on 2D) 17. Arrows (navigate on legs page) 18. Previous and Next page (correct all bugs of navigation) 19. Leg. Fix scale on 2D 20. View all in 2D and 3D (if you select 2D ok to dissappears 3D) 21. Close 2D window clicking right-up corner. Work done (there is much more done but this is the new stage since 15 December): EXEC (fix on 2D) [2 Min] PERF INIT. Finish ALT programming [5 hours] VNAV (CLIMB) [4h 40m] Thrust Limit [3h] Fuel Management [4h 15m] DEP/ARR (Selection of transition altitude [7h] VNAV (cruise) [1h] So as you can see lots of points to do, not so much time consuming but as always if there is not a regular workflow then the making of all of these can be ethernal. After finishing the FMS still these thigns need to be done: Doors screen Flight Controls Screens DC Electricity screen test of engines Test light button anti ice system (not takes so much time) extinguish fire engine system (not takes so much time) pressurization system (not takes so much time) sound system. Enough once more to stay 1 year and more if not regular workflow.. but with regular work, only could take 1-2 months all, maybe less... depending on working effort. Lets hope all comes smoothly now.
  17. Ok.. I am watching this poll-post and still haven't decided jet. But I have little ideas what people want. But I am a bit sad that only 81 people voted. If I release a plane, maybe 20% of those poeple would buy it. From the numbers of all my planes released, they are not enough money earned for the time and the effort done. My big bet is the CRJ but the plane is full of problems to end it. So right now in these days I feel a little depressing about all of that, and I am watching how the CRJ project continues hope to a clear good ending. In the middle I am making the 3D cockpit of the 747, so I have enough work for that. I will see.... Thanks!
  18. nobody has to shut up here in this forum. What I want here on "my" forums is a "everybody can say what they have to say" if those words are not insulting to any other member. Matthews just put his opinion and I respect it. Right now he hasn't got the truth because I know how the project is, but maybe he would be right if we don't take care of the CRJ. I am taking so much care of it, but that is not enough when managing a team. Hope the prediction of Matthews about not releasing on 2011 won't come true. I think not, but everything can happen, and with this project I have learned several lessons.
  19. well I understand how desperate you are to see this plane released. I also had that feeling and it is hard to wait to the end of programming of it. The plane could be ended very soon if Anton were well paid by me so he could stay full time working on the project but the reality is that I cannot pay noone because the sellings from my other planes and the money I have from Laminar is not enough to do that. I tried to find someone that could pay us doing our projects but couldn't, so.... this is the only way to do this job. The only way of paying is have a percent of sellings of the finished product... and of course have fun doing the project, and believe me that is fun to make systems but not all of them for a programmer. Anton is doing a great job on the systems of the CRJ. You cannot imagine how precise is he on the work done, but until the day he could live with just programming for x-plane, he has other things to do first, so he just work hard on the CRJ on his free time. The same I did when I started with the Javelin. Because I see how time is running and the plane workflow was going slowly, I decided to call Austin Help in case Anton could not finish the programming, but also Ben Russell wanted to help. Now he has a copy of the CRJ and I hope he can help us on the project. So, I never promised a date to be released. Yes.. once I said "I think this plane should be ready before 2010" and I ate my words. So, I think is better say "when the plane is over it will be released" So is better for me all of you think that the CRJ is dead. That way if one day we finish it (I think we will do) then it will be a surprise for all of you. Thanks! Javier
  20. first Anton has to end it. Later we can see... But still toooooooo much work to do on FMS >
  21. Writting from phone so I cannot write too much. I want to say it very clear. The Crj is not beta and to reach that stage still are needed maybe months. Anton had several problems and the work of the plane was slow as eternity for 6 months. Now he is working more regularity, but now he is working on a 8 hours office work, and Fms is far away from been complete. Thought it was ended because the info I received, and yes lots of things are done but they need to be tied. So as you can see, I want first to finish things and later we will see if we can make perfect things. Lets follow the correct steps. Has been several times the project has been near canceling, and one of the main reasons was because wanted to make it perfect. Life on real things not promises. I want to end the plane but maybe won't be the same it's on your imagination. Don't let the hype grow and kill the project. The good news is that Austin will give support to the code before and after release if anything goes bad. About, find people working on my projects. Believe me without money to pay before it's really difficult. By the way, have a happy new year, and nice flights around you!!
  22. Still there is not price because there is no plane finished. When we finished we will put a price depending on other planes around, what is offered... etc... By the way... Happy Christmass to all!!
  23. Peteb email x-aviation support email to ask for the update. Or ask Cameron for it
  24. Plane, I always take care of costummers.... or better say good opinions and positive feedback to learn more and do things better. About the CRJ? Do you know how many times I have through to the dustbin t-Shirts because eating the borders, because still not ending the plane? If the plane where on beta Stage I would announce... Still is close to beta, but not on there. Not going to announce anything new until I have something to announce. Yes I made the mistake to announce to everyone 2 years ago, but that let me do and know other people to help me with this project. The bad thing about that, is not always more people means quick work. You have to adapt to team working and you know, we are working free.. on this plane. The Main programmer for example hasn't received any money still for this plane (me neither) and for sure he has things to pay, so he has to search for a work that takes his time. That is the main reason of the delay. But the good news is still is on development. I don't know when it will be released. I hope the sooner we can.. and the better we can. But that is a good news.. because you all don't know how many times this project has been close to be cancelled. You know.. perfection is the first step to failure.. and try to make all costumers happy is the second step to failure. I am learning all of that since I sold the Javelin, and now I am learning a lot on the CRJ. Well.. anyway.. be patience and with your support maybe one day we will have the plane out. Hope sooner than later. Thanks! Javier Rollon
  25. yes yes.. it has inside and little outside normal maps.. and yes.. it fly perfectly on last version of x-plane.. and even I have tested on x-plane 10 made some little changes and it is flying perfectly there.
