  1. I have set two positions with pilot view plugin, where I sit at a window seat just at the end of the wing and have not experienced that these blinds ever close. If I watch my landings and take offs from the cabin seats, I like to see the wing and flaps move in the picture. I have them on either side.
  2. Ok, I'll try with the alpha channel then, thanx!
  3. Hi Phil, may I ask what the logic about the JRollon folder residing in the top directory of x-plane is? Since you install a seperate x-aviation folder in the aircraft folder anyway, couldn't it also be in there? That would be less irritating for newbies or people who generally do not like to fool around in the file structure and have no clue about it, but still happen to move stuff around in there;-)
  4. Ok, thanks for the answers! I tried to fly without frames around the popups, but somehow I don't like it. I tried to make the frames half as thick in photoshop but had to realise that the frames have to be in that exact pixel size in order for the displays to be correctly in the center. So I tried shaving have of the frame off and thought, that tga format might support translucency like png, but it does not. So, I am back to the big frames;-) So my suggestion for people who like the frames: Wouldn't have the thickness also make a nice frame? But that would have to be done by you to look right. I can live with copying the pilot view settings back after upgrading, but AIRACS and popup positions would really be nice! ;D Well, just did a couple of short flights again and she really flies like a charme, great work!
  5. Ok, thanx for the reply. Sometimes it just happpens that I click twice and then it is really annoying to be on the desktop while flying for my VA. But if it is a known bug, I can live with it, too
  6. Hi theo998, thanx for the austrian livery, it looks very nice! Just making a test flight to LOWW
  7. Hi, could the installer be altered in such a way, that it detects newer AIRACS versions installed than the ones it ships with and thus leaves them in place? It does not touch extra liveries, so that ought to be manageable? Same request for the pilot view plugin! I customized the settings to best suit my needs and after installing 1.1.1, I am back to the default settings. Thirdly, I can see through the left side of the pop up instruments. There is a gap of approx. 2 mm. That already occured to me in version 1.1. Is there a chance to have the plugin save the popup instrument positions that the user move them to? I am finding myself constantly moving popup windows around when I first start the CRJ. Performance limit and temperature in the FMC: When setting the outside temperature in the FMC on the perf. page, it seems that the values on the left are always 85%. Is that feature not implememnted yet and you just put in the 85% for all three thrust stages? I would think, that the N1 should be different values. The latter two questions are extras, but I did not want to open too many threads. Cheers Peter
  8. Hi, first of all, I did not have any issues with the FMC in version 1.0 or 1.1. Having installed Version 1.1.1 yesterday, I get CTD as soon as I click on a SID more than once. I have made three attempts now and it has crashed on me three time. I just tried to post the crash logs, but they are too long? Even one crash log is too long for a post. Where are we supposed to post the logs then? Phil's post on crash logs is not very precise about that, it sounds to me that I am supposed to put it in the specific thread, but evidently that doesn't work for me. Any insight on that would be appreciated. Cheers Peter
