Hi,
That is so frustrating that I even turn Xplane off, I just updated from Xplane 11.50 B16 to beta 17 and same as it happened twice with the TBM900 so I have the same livrery, the same registration but the airframe is like a brand new!!! I'm trying to feel this bird alive which is the goal when there are great Wear tears features but why it is now as if 20 Flight Time hours spent were for having a brand new airframe today!
Is there a way to avoid this issue again? Do I have to save the SR22 folder placed in Output before updating Xplane then, I guess! We should have a warning in the manual about it, it's very ennoying, really I've lost 95 hours with the TBM this way as well...

Good idea! i'll check it out! The things is that I checked the option "continue flight after crash" ON (something says like that) It doesn't restart the flight so that I thought that it would be the best option in order to avoid to stop most things from futher processing but it seems to not respond to that obvioulsy, I've noticed it with two other complex addons where after a crash I didn't have to repair the whole bird but just tires for instance... Anyway I'll check the log on the crash, don't want to do it on purpose, I try to keep her in a good mood after hours of flyings!

Sure you right! ... but as it is mentionned in my previous post it looks like it didn't detect the crash, the airplane didn't get any damage at all, this is why I was wondering if it was because a "bug" crash detection from Xplane?

I enjoy it so much so far! Hours in the air and such an immersive pleasure of realism!
Congratulations for bringing it out!
Unfortunately I just crashed my bird in the moutain in Alaska because of pilot error (icing conditions) amazing flight model by the way!
What did surprise me is that I have nothing to repair at all?
How could it possible? Is it due to Xplane Crash detection?
Sorry for the screenshot I know it hurts to see this beautiful bird in such a bad state...
You guys did a great job, worth money for sure!

It seems to have any issue to start the engine, I've tried both cold star and hot start of course with "wear and failures" checked ON.
I'm still speechless how it feels so realistic, I mean it! Hope you'll find a way to make it work! The manual is extremely complete, same for the checklist... 3 hours so far in the air, I'm amazed!

On x-org forum it looks like nobody could get it so far... I mean hard to say but I believe that it's not released yet because above "ADD TO CART " it says "This product will be in stock on Saturday 25 July, 2020."

I have exactly the same issue in overcast and stormy weather no matter the tricks I've tried from SkyMaxx Pro menu, I could even compared with the real world at my place, it was overcast yesterday very cloudy and rainy, same again Skymaxx pro didn't show the real clouds coverage based on METAR even if I put the cursor to 100 % coverage and changed different combination of textures "overcast" etc.
If I only use Active Sky without SMP then the issue is just gone automatically and I have a "real" overcast conditions/dark lights that matches the reality. Yesterday that was the perfect day to test at my real place so I don't have any idea of such a disparity
No matter the place I fly in overcast after testing I don't find the way to get rid of what I call on my side an issue, I'll try to make screenshot to compare what could provide Active Sky alone by itself which is coherent based on Metar and when I use SkyMaxx Pro in the same time. Of course I did check if I had missed something like checked ON option in AS menu, I also cheked if Real Injector was set on the right option etc...
Since the last AS official or beta I've never have any other weather coverage issue compared to what I can see from my window even if it's not exactly the same (we're still in 2020 lol) but it always remains coherent therefore it will be "weird" to claim that the issue is coming from AS (I mean on my side at least)

Hi there,
I hope that the devs will add the propellers tendancies back for the sake of realism.
If it was too strong before -let's put that way- (based on complains from some users) the legitimate question is why this precious realistic effect is almost inexistant now in the last update? ... that I don't even need to set my rudder trim to the right before T/O
If it was "too" strong, why the effect totally disappeared? I dare to believe that if some users ask to delete some failures because they are not comfortable with or else that there is a limit where you won't yield to that.
Please is it possible to have this effect back?

Got it! No worries tks! ... sure if you buy the wrong car you're not really happy but at the end it's funny I really laught at myself, and the more important is that it doesn't change my point of view of TorqueSim I should had mentionned more accurately in previous message but there you go!
As you said wisely yes I take happiness in knowing a great development team is behind this product.... and when I read and see what you guys are able to create (Cirrus or else) I'm happy... Alright so can't wait for future updates about the BN-2 and even if it's not the topic here can't wait for the Cirrus... You guys are very creative and it's great that you make our favorite sim better...

I'm not. Sharing idea or feedback do not necessary means being upset as you well know ;-) or even asking for something which is also the purpose of a forum. As I quote myself as it was written : "I'm in a good mood with TorqueSim... I also said "that is my fault" ... "my bad"... and I'm just sharing thoughts here in a good mood! ... same like "Thank you guys I'm so happy with the TBM900 ... tks guys I'm happy with Pocket Rocket.... Hi there I'm happy with SkyMaxx " or "I'm not happy with this or that" ... same value.
I'm not upset at all, I just a made a mistake and it's not the end of the world or the end of TorqueSim lol to whom I wish the best for future addons and future updates!
Keep up the great work and please yes especially for the BN-2 ! ;-)

Oh tks for your reply Cameron, I'm in a good mood with TorqueSim for sure but I believe that even if I made a mistake by purchasing the wrong plane for the first time, I think that the product came on the market too soon even without Wear/tear/Maintenance but at this point of lack of realism I'm very surprised that it could happen from Torque Sim. I definitely didn't expect that. It feels that it is more eye-candy bird, to be objective as much as possible.. Otherwise I can understand that many users do not really care about realism and at the end in our sim world there's a place for everybody hardcore simmers or not...

Unfortunatelly there is no REP on the road map for the BN-2 TorqueSim as it was said on X.org. At least it was never said by Simcoders as they mentionned as well.
Same here, she's in my hangar taking dust but again my bad, wrong purchased which funny because I annonced the released on X.org forum on the page of the devs, everybody laughted (me as well) ... yes it maybe be released today can't wait for the one I was supposed to buy lol... Ok I think it's not the best place to talk about the concurence hh , I was hoping to save my wrong purchased a little bit which was the purpose of this new topic but that's ok, I made a mistake ! ;-)

Same here with the 1.0.0 yesterday I lost my 19,7 hours Flight Time and it got back to the value default
Now I'm downloading the 1.0.1 but by reading you guys it seems that the issue is still there, it happened twice before but since July 26th it didn't happen except yesterday where I lost everything in terms of persistence system...
The goal is too feel this beautiful bird alive and not having a brand new after 20 hours in the skies... however it's such a fantastic addon and its first steps so hopefully this issue will be fixed or is already ...
