Are you saying that the aircraft won't operate on 10.5.8?

I installed from both - DVD, and the demo at x-plane.com and the result is the same - crashes to desktop... Philip, can you give me an update as to where you are in the troubleshooting process? Is there anything else I can provide you with? I am still waiting to hear back about using Terminal as you instructed me to do so. Please help.

I don't have any development tools installed that I know of. I searched macports, fink and homebrew - didn't find anything. Custom QT? I've got QT Pro, with Flip4Mac installed... Although, while in Terminal I do see an option for Homebrew. In Terminal, > Shell > New Window > Homebrew As for using Terminal, not sure what to do here as per your instructions. I've got Terminal open, and if I enter 'otool -l max.xpl' it says command not found. Can you please clarify exactly what I need to do to. Screenshot of my CRJAvionics folder attached. Just ran Software Update - I can confirm that I am running the latest and greatest version of OSX 10.5.8.

Yes. It was positive - the plane should work.

There is no crash_log.txt - none is generated after every crash. Attached is a screenshot of the x-plane folder after crash.

I have tried everything, including a fresh new install from the disc, and from X-Plane Updater Mac. Still can't use the plane. Crashes every time I load the aircraft. X-plane 9.69 Mac OS 10.5.8 NO installed 3rd-party plugins -Log.txt (attached) Log.txt
