You are entering the cruise altitude on the CLIMB page??

Can't answer for him but in my case it is in perf page and having the same issue, just made some circuits and didn't happen in this case. I don't know if it is time, distance or just the flow of the use of the code that at some point tends to brake it but it is happening a lot.

I select enable Avitab EFB option and it correctly displays on the left and right aircraft windows.  However, while in VR, there is no way to click or select anything on the tablet, either with the mouse or the VR controller.

That happened with me one time and I did fix it resetting the avitab plugin via plugin admin

Hi @Bulva...yes, this GUI is a "patch" for the majority of non-VR users and I'm sorry you VR guys are getting 'hit'.  Laminar is aware.  There is much retooling going on under the hood still with regards to graphics and I am certainly retooling with VR in mind.  It will be a while as the retool has implications with future projects, but I'm not going anywhere.

Just curious though...does X-Plane's "UI scaling" settig change anything in VR?

I don't think so, windows in VR are always huge and slap at your face very closely, LR should implement that better, at least let us customize where the window pops up.

@berilojr - I just tried your vr file with my Rift S. Thank you very much for your work - almost everything works very well.
However, I couldn't turn on a few knobs (of course I'm not talking about the wipers ;)) ):

... and the movement of some knobs is very slow - especially the knobs for adjusting the brightness of the cockpit lighting and the NAV1/2 setting. Perhaps it's specific to my Rift S, if it works perfectly for you.
Anyway, I took the liberty (I hope, you won't be angry) to modify your vr file for the needs of my Rift S and I'm posting it here just in case.
Now is working beautifully for me now, so thank you again for sharing Your work. ;-)

Of course ;-) , I tried to use the B733_vrconfig.txt file from XP11, but it didn't work properly -> the knobs on the overhead panel didn't work at all.
(possibly because it wasn't the original 733_vrconfig.txt file from XP11, but modified by me - although I don't think that's what's causing many of the knobs not working in XP12)

Had tuned some knobs on overhead and now they're working fine for me:

    ixeg/733/irs/irs_left_mode_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 90

    ixeg/733/irs/irs_right_mode_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 90

    ixeg/733/irs/irs_dspl_sel_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 30

    ixeg/733/engine/eng1_start_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 90

    ixeg/733/engine/eng2_start_act

    DEG_PER_ACTION 60

    ixeg/733/electrical/elec_ac_display_sel_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 60

  6. vr_config is missing, you can copy from ixeg XP11 version and change the values from the datarefs below to make it work in XP12:

    ixeg/733/irs/irs_left_mode_act
    DEG_PER_ACTION 90

    ixeg/733/irs/irs_right_mode_act

A few comments/requests regarding VR mode:
    - why is there no B733_vrconfig.txt file???
    - very imprecise use of rotary knobs with VR controllers (someone has already written about this)
    - can't you integrate the aircraft service menu as an element of AviTab?
    - a huge request to add a command (dataref) so that you can activate/deactivate the GPU connection using the assigned button. I already asked for this in the XP11 model, because when using VR, going through several menu windows is very inconvenient and kills immersion.
    - why some knobs (I keep writing about using VR controllers) are operated by turning the controllers, and some by sideways (linear) movements.

In the XP11 version, the VR mode was very good (99%), all rotary knobs required hand rotation (intuitive behavior), and the sensitivity could be individually adjusted in the B733_vrconfig.txt file

I hope that the aspect of using VR controllers in this wonderful aircraft will improve quickly and significantly, because currently it is more of a struggle than a pleasure (using VR controllers).
It was really good in IXEG733 in XP11 and I don't know why this aspect broke in XP12.

Jan's looking into that Bulva.  He's the VR 'guy' :)  Certainly an oversight. we have it on our list to go over after this week.

Just FYI, I got vr_config file from the xp 11 version and looks to work fine, havent tried yet bc mine is giving me the "Level-2 check FAILED", had DM TK already

you and me both.   Still working on it every day (except weekends...really need my mental breaks)....there's just tons of little details to tend to, especially with lighting control and tweaks.  I just finished swapping out all the old exterior lighting with the new V12 lighting yesteday, so that's the latest thing I worked on.  Still moving down the punchlist.

I'm campaigning for this to Laminar.....the ability to exclude light sources from reflective surfaces...but as of this moment, I don't believe we can.

I'll squeeze in a quick report here also.  Just completed all the interior cabin texturing....at least 99.5% of it....and now I'm working on the lighting for the rear galley. Lighting for cabin/front galley already done.   Next week some time I'll begin the final punchlist items list and we'll start looking to wrap things up to package for release...that's not an overnight step, lots of checks have to be made, but we're definitely coming to the end of this V12 port +  process.

I'm going to start calling this the "V12 compatibility patch + (plus)"....becuase its exactly that.  A port of the existing V11 functionality  to V12, PLUS a few extra 3D stuffs thrown in.   I want to make sure people understand this isn't some "V2" with all new 3D throughout, revised FMS/VNAV etc.....that work comes after this release...this is to get folks flying the 733 in V12.   Here's a update screenshot of the new cabin/rear galley....the works that's been going on the last 4 weeks.

Looks amazing, I will be posting on FB and other forums to motivate people into it, wish you get a tons of order and keep as much motivated as possible on this... thank y'all so much to bring this all the way to XP12, more than happy to pay for this patch and looking forward to buy different versions like 400/500/F if that still a thing.

;)Okay, a new aircraft with 90% similarity in FMC to 733 but not a 747?

    75/67 confirmed then?

A NG series would be awesome, I know that zibo is out there and it is an excellent plane but still missing -600 -700 -900 -900ER and if they go a step ahead and make the MAX series, that would be terrific....
