  1. There is no known reason why the CL650 or anything associated with that would delete the simulator executable file. Unfortunately we can't do much from our end to assist with your issue. Please conduct an anti-virus sweep using windows defender and check to see if any third party anti-virus or anti-malware programs are active and have flagged the simulator executable for quarantine.

  2. Hi! Sorry to hear your sim crashed. We will do our best to help you, but in order to give you the quickest response we need to make sure a couple of items are addressed first before you post:

    1) DO NOT post with "same issue here". Please create your own post

    2) Addon Removal

        a) remove or disable all addon scenery

        b) remove all third party addon plugins you installed (including shadeX and XPRealistic) from the X-Plane plugins folder
            (X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins)
               except Gizmo64.plugin, XPLM.framework, XPLMWidgets.framework, PluginAdmin, XPLM_64, XPWidgets_64.

         c) restart X-Plane and load the CL650 and attempt to reproduce the problem. If the aircraft crashes, proceed to step 3.

    3) Please open your log file and look at the last several lines. If the text says:

    Backtrace is:
    ...

then please create a post, attach your entire log file, and include what you were doing when the system crashed to desktop in as much detail as possible: where the aircraft was including altitude, flight plan loaded, button presses which immediately preceded the crash. Please attach the CL650_Log.txt located in "X-Plane 11\Output\CL650"

    3) if your log file just ends without posting a backtrace after ensuring there are no addons, or plugins please post in as much detail as possible, where the aircraft was including altitude, flight plan loaded, button presses which immediately preceded the crash.

    Some other trouble shooting tips:

    1) If you have an AMD GPU please try rolling back drivers to OCT 2020 this seems to work for some people.
