  1. Hello! Im starting the testing on my home simpit for the tbm900 and I was able to disable the fuselage via the cockpit_builder config, however disabling the glass does not appear to work. My config looks like below. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance! # ===================== # COCKPIT GLASS EFFECTS # ===================== # # When you are building a physical cockpit, you might want to disable the # custom virtual cockpit glass effects (rain, ice, broken glass, engine # heatblur, etc.). # To disable the effects, uncomment the following line: # glass_enabled = false # # The default value is true (cockpit glass effects enabled). # # # =================================== # VIRTUAL COCKPIT/FUSELAGE VISIBILITY # =================================== # # Same as for the cockpit glass effects, you might want to hide the # aircraft virtual cockpit and fuselage. Uncomment the following line to # hide the VC and fuselage when the view is internal to the aircraft. # The VC and fuselage will be visible when the view is external. # fuselage_enabled = false -Chris
  2. Thanks @oldflyguy. I enter the new code, but it never seems to update what airport is selected. Funny I tried it just now on the ground connected to the GPU and it was fine. Ill have to try it again mid flight and see what it does. It seemed very simple so not sure what I've been doing wrong.
  3. Hey all quick question - how does one change what airport is selected on the charts page on the MFD? Im always able to pull up the departure airport, but if i want to change to the destination airport I can't seem to figure it out. I figured itd be as simple as dialing in the ICAO code but then the airport doesn't change, tried pressing enter ect, but nothing.
  4. Oh wow even better! Absolutely love this aircraft. I wish every dev gave their aircraft the treatment you folks did with this.
  5. Quick question - I left the experimental flight model on after flying the AFL 172 (which recommends it on). My question is how bad did I mess the flight model/my experience up by leaving this on - or does the TBM support the experimental flight model?
  6. I may have made this post too soon. I think looking as the ASXP 'conditons' image that makes it look overcast and rain and not actually at the metar. I even went outside and it seemed to match pretty well. Even the XP weather 'image' that gives you the non technical idea of what the weather is going to be actually listed it as stormy which also threw me off. So yea this was a me error and not SMP/AS/RWC ect lol.
  7. The darker one was SMP. Im assuming this is just a limitation of XP itself. Cloud coverage should make it overall darker, except it seems like it even lowers the brightness of the instruments as well which was mainly my issue. This is also the effect that happened to me at night which compounded the issue, but also seemed off as it shouldnt get any darker when its already night time, if thats making any sense. I may just adjust the that intensity to something that is a good tradeoff.
  8. Looks like it finally happened. Here are images with SMP on and off and logs. Log.txt
  9. So, Im running SMP with RWC and ASXP. For the most part they do an excellent job. However, sometimes I run in to issues where its stormy, yet in sim is partly cloudy, typically with rain. I have ASXP set to SMP and RWC for external engine. Do I have something configured wrong? Im assuming because its reports broken clouds? @POS 252134Z 28413KT 9999 -RA FEW045 FEW060 FEW100 BKN250CI 31/19 A2971 RMK ADVANCED INTERPOLATION
  10. I just tried to duplicate and of course couldn't lol. It was at night and on the ground, stock C172, which is what made it worse and I was in VR if this matters. Next time it happens I'll take a screen shot and capture the log.
  11. Yep - just happened tonight first flight after upgrading. I always forget to make a post once I have all the flight gear strapped to the desk.
  12. So I noticed in certain weather conditions, SMP4 adds this weird 'haze' over the entire image. I get the outside wanting to look hazy but it extends in to the cockpit. Is there a way I can turn this feature off? If I disable SMP it seems to clear up. No other shader addons or anything like that installed.
  13. I do hear the tick tick of the ignition. So funny story - the fuse was popped....I pushed it in and the sound has returned...lol!
  14. Nope, not using anything outside of skymax/RWC and FSGRW. Mostly a stock install.
  15. So I gave a reinstall a shot with no change. I created a new airframe and the sound is there, switched back and its gone. I feel like theres a failure here I'm not seeing. Is the aux pump simulated to fail?
  16. So I've had the TBM for a few weeks now and I have to start off saying - THIS is how EVERY aircraft should be built. It's a truly living breathing machine and its truly spectacular what the team has done. With that said I'm having a very minor issue - my aux pump sound seems to have stopped working. I don't have any failures, nothing worn out. There is just no sound when its engaged to ON or AUTO modes. Everything else works as intented, the switch makes its click, the starter, oxygen, literally everything else works perfect. I have no idea what could have changed. Any ideas without trying a reinstall?
