  2. I like doing more hands on VFR flying. Why download 100's of gig of HD and UHD data, and then fly at 40,000? Does anyone know how to capture video in x-plane with sound? I was just using the built in recording feature. Do you have to use an external recorder? Cheers, Jase
  3. Here's some footage from a flight around Zurich the other day. I was going to go around the lake but it started raining and decided to climb out of the bad weather. No sound sorry!
  4. JGG-Crossair HB-AHA View File Here's a repaint for the awesome Saab 340 from LES. It's my first repaint and I wanted to do something Swiss. I fly around Zurich a lot and I really like the Swiss cross on the tail fin. This repaint is of Crossair HB-AHA. It was delivered to Crossair in 1984 and was part of their fleet of regional aircraft that flew between Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lugano and Zurich. This particular aircraft was put out of service in February 1990 when the landing gear was retracted on the ground during a training exercise. There were no locking pins in place and it caused irreparable damage. Crossair had been growing quite well during the 70's and 80's which made Swissair, the national airline, quite nervous. During the late 80's Swissair were purchasing more and more shares in Crossair and eventually owned about 60% of the company. Because of this, I've included a Swissair branded GPU in the livery. It also has a logo light for the tail fin. Now you can fly with the correct colours when you do those regional routes in Switzerland! Hope you enjoy, Jase Submitter Jason Gilholme Submitted 05/02/2016 Category Heavy Metal Livery For Click Here For Aircraft X-Plane Version(s)

  6. After doing some more reading, it turns out that I'm also a victim of the co-ordinate system limitation. 7. Hi Cameron, It's understandable about the refund - I just submitted a support ticket through x-aviation and updated myself on your t's & c's. At the moment I'm running a very vanilla xplane from a plugins perspective. Just SkyMaxx + RWC + MaxxFx. I was flying offline with RWC set to always (trying to take x planes real weather updating out of the equation) and had a few large weather updates happen. I managed to take a before and after screen shot to show the difference: http://jasongilholme.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/before.jpg http://jasongilholme.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/after.jpg Is there anything you can do to help?
  8. Yes, I must agree as well that the information provided when purchasing RWC from x-aviation is very misleading as well. This is from their website: Quick Facts: Takes real world weather data in X-Plane and more precisely places clouds from SkyMaxx Pro v3.1. With Real Weather Connector you'll be able to actually see weather fronts ahead, behind, or on either side of you without abrupt changes to the weather! Watch the video below for more insight! I've been flying with this plug-in for a while (both online and offline) with various settings and I've been getting lots of popping and stalls while it reloads the weather. This is the reason I bought the product and it hasn't done what it says it should do. Is there anything I can try on my end before I contact X-Aviation to see if they can refund me.
