Hello all, I have an r/c transmitter (DX6 G2 Spektrum) and I was wondering anybody had experience connecting the transmitter to X-Plane. I haven't found anything about this specific setup yet. It sounds like while the DX6 is on Trainer Mode, it can export it's Pulse Width Modulation (instructions to the receiver) via an audio cord to the Mic port on the computer. After that I was wondering if X-Plane can just take these instructions and run with it or if drivers exist to decode this and give input to X-Plane. And if nothing exists, would this need to be coded? I have heard about USB remote controllers, but was hoping to not have to purchase anything additional to what I already have. Thanks for your time!
