  1. I have tried it on both medium and high as well as having the cloud detail at max and draw distance at max and still unable to produce hard IFR even with custom weather and a layer of stratus a couple hundred feet off the deck. I understand that Skymaxx did away with the whole grey out but I am wanting to be able to fly approaches to minimums such as this.
  2. Hello, so this morning I was excited to try out hard IFR into KSMX but was sadly dissapointed with how it was rendering the weather and clouds. Note the ATIS. The visibility is closer to 7-10nm and no overcast layer in sight. This was just an auto generated approach starting at 3nm after I did a full flight anticipating IFR conditions on the approach. According to my DME I had the airport in sight at 8nm, again with no overcast layer in sight.. Without skymaxx the weather is as shown correctly according to the ATIS.
  3. Hello, first off this product is fantastic. I do have a couple of questions though, I apologize if my explanations do not make much sense... I will try and explain my issues the best I can. When flying through clouds as I pass into them the transition (perhaps gradiant is the proper word) from transparent fluffy cloud to 0 visibility is smooth however as I exit the cloud it is not smooth and the cloud will instantly disappear and then the transition from transparent cloud to 0 visibility will restart.... you see the pattern. Secondly, I was flying in mountainous terrain (L35) and noticed that when the clouds are at a low altitude touching the terrain they do not smoothly transition onto the terrain but get cut off onto the terrain. Lastly I've attached two screenshots... I'm not sure what is going on here. I assume I am approaching the top of the layer however the transition is not smooth.. you'll notice the altitude difference is 30' and in the first screenshot you can clearly tell that I am not at the top of the layer then all of a sudden the clouds will disappear and I am presented with what is happening in screenshot 2. Is there anything I can do to solve these? Thanks!
