  1. Last few lines of log.txt indicate it's Gizmo. Not sure what the OBJ8 file is: 0:01:08.994 D/ATC: p2(N02XP): FlyToPoints 0:01:08.994 D/ATC: p2(N02XP): Maintain 3999ft Gizmo: OpenGL<->Physics Offset Default Init: 748.290, 117.317, 42574.957 Gizmo: Tried to use physics engine without loading an OBJ8 file. Ignored, can't draw! --=={This application has crashed because of a PLUGIN!}==--
  2. It appears the problem is win.xpl, the plugin. It's always the reason for the crash according to the Windows crash reporting tool. I tried to disable it, but was getting Gizmo problems. This is very frustrating as it appears there is no problem with the aircraft itself. Is there a solution too this?
  3. I just bought the CRJ-200 to take advantage of the sale today. The test application said I should be able to run it. And it runs just fine. Problem is that it seems to crash the sim a lot, typically as I'm looking around the cockpit in 3D mode to get the engines started (haven't made it in the air yet). Yes, I am running the 32-bit version of 10.20 Beta 3. But other payware have had no issues with that version so far. For now, I'm just curious if others have any issues with CRJ-200 crashing the sim? thanks
  4. I'd second the thoughts by lis. I've owned the Corvalis for about a month now and actually did not know about the 41 liveries...learn something new every day! I also agree with the strong immersion given the modeling of the systems and the Garmin 1000. I do wish a few minor functions of the Garmin would work (checklist, topo overlay), but ll in all it's well done. I also own the Falco F8 and do like the manipulators, but don't feel that not having them on the Corvalis takes anything away. The Corvalis is my go-to aircraft these days for any flights, and has been for some time. I just don't get tired or bored with it! Go for it, get it, you'll see.
  5. Great news, thanks! Loving your aircraft every minute I fly with it....which is pretty much all the time ;D
  6. OK, I will check into this further. Jim I'm running the latest 9.50. Ran the updater about a week ago. Windows 7 64 bit, ATI 5770 card system... mraviator, Can you tell me what verison of X-Plane you are running please. Thanks, Jim
  7. Ok, looks like that did the trick. Thanks for being patient with me on this one! So far I am loving the aircraft model very much, thanks!
  8. mraviator, Sorry to hear your having problems, the FMS takes a little getting used to Try this and let me know what happens. Press the INIT Key and then press Direct To Key. After that enter your first waypoint and then press the ENTER KEY. The FPL Window should now show the correct Bearing and Distance. Let me know how it goes. Jim Unfortunately that did not work. I click FMS on the MFD, then launch the ReadyPad, then press INIT then Direct To before I even bring up the Waypoint window. The attached screen shot shows the result. It displays my latitude correctly (just north of Austin, TX), but my longitude is set to zero.
  9. Negative. I just purchased/downloaded the aircraft this afternoon and have not even had a chance to load it up in Planemaker....
  10. So this is not working after all. I select INIT, then the Direct To button. It still thinks i'm somewhere on the equator....
  11. Easiest way to explain this is to show it in a short clip (sorry for the poor quality...): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVYE6SlwHU4 The altitude band drifts upwards when I climb and downward when I descend. This is only in the 2D cockpit view and it does not happen with the airspeed band. Should be running the latest version as I just purchased the aircraft today. thanks!
  12. Never mind.....found the answer in a previous post: OK, I think I see what happened. When you are entering a flight plan at some point you have to press the D> key to tell the FMS where you are starting from (first waypoint). I would suggest you add this step right after you press the INIT key. So, prior to entering any waypoints, first press the INIT Key and thne the D> Key. This will set the starting way point to your current position (KBDN). After that you can enter the remaining waypoints as DSD, MAVER, BTG, and KPDX. Once you have entered all the waypoints press the SAVE Key. Name the flight plan and save. After that you should be able to load the flight plan without a problem. Note: Before loading the flight plan press the INIT key to clear any existing data in the Active Flight Plan Window if necessary.
  13. I just purchased this aircraft and only have a couple of flights "under the belt". I went to input a few fixes into the FMS to check out it's capabilities, but it appears that it does not know my own location. For example, i'm at San Antonio airport and want to input Austin airport as a destination. It gives me a distance of over 5000 miles to KAUS, even though it's less than 100 miles away. In the Location window, it shows a lat/long of 0/0, so i'm suspecting that it thinks my own location is where the primer meridian intersects the equator.... What am I missing? Thanks
