  1. Thanks for hanging in with me, Jim. Yes, I am really enjoying the aircraft, and the wonderful documentation Sonny
  2. Jim, I think that I got it. I had previously followed the original POH steps and kept wiping out Waypoints by going back to Step 4. After figuring out that something was wrong (insanity is repeating the same thing over and over, hoping for a different result), I found your amended "....proper procedure to..." Felt good. Still didn't work, as I followed that exactly (over and over again). I think that the solution is to add the original Step 5 (Direct TO) to the final "proper procedure", and it seems to work. Is this correct? I guess that the way to delete (not edit) existing flight plans is to do it via the Finder? Sonny
  3. Jim, I think that we are making some progress. I found the files, copied one (with the subscript), and opened it in TextEdit. I deleted the useless info without names, and now it loads fine. How did all those extra lines get in there? I think that I'm creating the waypoints properly. Looks as if I have to strip the .fms suffix. Will try again to send the files. Oops. Will add .txt, and try again. Hope that it gets through this time. Sonny TwinCities.txt TwinCities_1.txt
  4. Yes, Jim. I am viewing the AFP on the MFD. I have enclosed 2 small images. When I select the previously saved Flight Plan in x-plane, and hit Open, there are no waypoints in the AFP window. (The "EMPTY" Flight Plan that you see in x-plane was just an additional test FP to see if there is any difference when I saved a plan with no waypoints.) ***Is there anything further that I should do in the MFD to see my Saved>Loaded FP, after choosing it in the FMS box in x-plane? I am on a Mac Pro 10.6.4 with x-plane 9.61 RC2 Thanks for your help. I must say that the plane is great, and especially thank you for the fabulous documentation. Being a novice, the learning curve is huge (x-plane manual, forums, Google, etc). Your POH and Tutorial accelerate the learning greatly, and make it fun. I really appreciate your efforts. Sonny
  5. I have created and saved a flight plan of 5 airports, and saved it. I cannot load it. LOAD in Ready Pad opens the x-plane Open FMS Plans window, and my flight plan is there. I select it and click open, the Load window closes, but there is no flight plan in the Active Flight Plan Window. I'm sure that I'm missing a step. Thanks, Sonny Mac Pro 10.6.4 x-plane 9.61 RC2
