  1. @lord_helmet: I am using the new tool, EFASS together with the a320neo. Last flight was very strange. I started in LIRF, Metar was CAVOK and blue sky was rendered. Climbing enroute to 30.000ft the sky looked like a grey blob, nothing else was to be seen. Decending towards LSZA there was thick fog, visibility near null, but the metar read also CAVOK for this place. I .. ehm .. crashed on my attempt to land :-( and loaded LSZA again as a starting point. This time the sky was clear. It is as though the SkyMaxx didn´t pick up the latest metar for my destination on the flight and rendered something else (?). I really don´t know.
  2. I´ve got the same "switching" problem and I also use the a320NEO V2. Real weather simply disappears and is overridden by some general weather conditions. Very strange.
  3. Yes, I understand. I´ll try to grab some screenshots the next time.
  4. Hi John, thanks for your reply and support.Yes, the problem occurs with the default real weather setting. I can understand the "holes" (no clouds) in the upper sky layers, but at airport elevation level clouds should be visible again, or am I wrong? The default x-plane weather (without SkyMaXX) works, i.e. the clouds are visible at the destination area. I also have to reload the real weather sometimes, when I start xplane, because the clouds are not visible. Bye, Oli
  5. Hi, I just had a short flight (26.000ft) from EDDT to EDDW an noticed a problem with SkyMaXX. Clouds were rendered in EDDT but the further a went towards EDDW the less clouds were rendered and at EDDW there were no clouds at all. Seems that the cloud engine didn´t pass the update of the real weather on to SkyMaxx. Thankful for any help, regards, Oli
  6. Dear John, I´m sorry, but I don´t understand a word of your last post .
