Tom, are you modeling the passenger cabin? If you are, is it for walking inside or just so you see some seat from the outside? Personally, i like to hit replay and go and sit in the back and watch wing view! Are you including some ground modeling like groundpower or maybe some stairs?

I got my hands on a used 560gtx ti. Wow, i have so niiice fps with the 727! X-plane really looks soooo good. Cant wait for jumping in the ixeg 737 with this card.

The new Graphicscard is here (used GTX 560), now i am just waiting for the right aircraft to arrive! =)

Great news Jan! and autopilot is the PERFECT topic for a new video, i am so curious to see how it operates and i think all the movies are so good due to the fact that you are a real 737 pilot as well! I can´t imagine starting from cold and dark in LFMN at night in that beautiful 3D cockpit with all the systems! I think setting up system is more fun than actually flying sometimes! =) Best of test for IXEG!

One more question. When i search on 737-300 on youtube etc i get the old round engine gauges in the cockpit. Isnt the ixeg a 737-500?

Sounds great Tom! Thanks for your reply. A cold and dark tutorial is a must, i think preparing the cockpit from cold to takeoff is actually more fun than the flying itself. Good to hear about the performance, i will wait for the 737 to be finished before i buy a new card though.

Hi Tom. Good to hear the project is moving along nicely. In the fantastic latest ixeg movie Jan says at the end that the version is in alpha. I havent seen any autopilot / vnav /lnav functionality? If i recall you said earlier that it generated lots of bugs at first when you put all the autopilot navigatin pieces together. Is this sorted out allready? Do you have anymore big systems that not is complete? Is it "just" the external and 3d modeling If you plan to make any more videos i vote for some nav videos to view some of the autopilot/nav features. One more question, when this baby comes out i am also buying new ram (12gb) and a new gfx card. I am thinking of an used gtx560. Do you think i will get good fps with your aircraft in moderete settings? What gfxcard do you have?

I am thinking of a GTX680 myself. i think x-plane will run very good with that card.

there is a movie about an old bomer who crashlanded in the antarktis, that a group of people later on are planning to repair and fly home. But i can´t find it anywhere. Was also a great movie.

Do you feel like me? X-plane has really passed fsx with a big margin. I used fsx sometimes but now i dont want to touch it. With the new 64-bit and shadows, landclass etc ready in x-plane. Also jrollons 32 and fly j sim 727 is the best graphics in any addon. this is not possible to fsx and its polygon limit. I just want to say congratulations to all developers and laminar , you did it! Fsx har one ace up and its sleeve, the ngx systems,not the graphics. But when ixeg drops the bomb, it will be over! Hehe

I will buy this bird and have fun before the release of the 727, then i will have fun with that until the ixeg 737 is released. This jetstream raise the bar once again in x-plane! The last picture of the ice is incredibla, this prop is a beauty mr jrollon!!!

The correct answer is that the battery explodes and the lights gets in to "disco mode" Please let me know if you ixeg team has some questions, i am happy to answer.! Hahaha Of course the highest system simulation in sim history should be freeware! Hahaha again

I agree, its time that x-plane community dont expect high-quality products to be free. Complex system and design should be rewarded as it is needed badly in x-plane.

Gggrrreeat shots and lightning. Cant you add some photos/videos on the ixeg.net? Its easier to have all photos in one place. How about a nav-video or fms-video? It doesent need to be perfect its just so intresting videos jan is making. The enginestart video i probable seen 500 times!

Impressive as always! Jan, if you have the time, can you help me explain what airways are? I know the basics about the SID, Star and navigation points like NDB and VOR but i dont know what an airway is. On the FMC page VIA - TO i can manually enter waypoints/route. I Define a route being the navigation way that you add a SID and a star to complete. But what does the VIA and TO columns stand for? is VIA always a NDB,VOR and TO always an airway? Is an airway the distance between example two VORs? When this baby comes out i will try to enter all the info manually when it is fun to use the FMS when you have this features on the IXEG aircraft. once again, very very impressive screenshots!

I am no kid, but it sure worked for me as an adult! hehe These pictures are amazing, the "night mood" is really there. I think this is X-Planes strongest point (and Ixeg). the "non-cartoonish" look and the nice lighting. I think this cockpit is the best i have ever seen in any simulator period! Tom: i knew the sugar would work! =)
