  1. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Thank you very much for those images!!!!!!! Angelo
  2. Hello, great pictures and great scenery! is that the converted YMML? Angelo
  3. Is there a way to know which Countries have the most number of contributions? We know (how?) that Germany and France are very detailed, but what about Countries outside Europe?
  4. I'd not change colours programmatically, in this way it's simpler to check which objects have strange colours and, possibly, correct them. If you change colours during the conversion the overall result is obiously better, but this only hide the problem instead of solve it at the root.
  5. Haven't seen that when I went there to check the countries, thank you!
  6. Norway generated too (15 minutes), now it's Sweden time! Tony, I'll upload Netherlands in few minutes and then I'll give you the link.
  7. Ok Blacky!!!
  8. Good to know that, thank you!!! Netherlands done (40 minutes), Norway in progress.
  9. That's the meaning of beta test!

  11. I'm trying Great Britain right now, it seems is the most greater time-consuming generation until now, 5 tiles after 10 minutes. Ok no the same work twice! :-) After trying with Great Britain I'll then proceed with Norway, Sweden and Netherlands.
  12. Could you please elaborate this? I'm ready to generate Finland, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands and even Great Britain, but for the last one I'll wait for the fix... do I need to remove the rule for residential area trees?
  13. PACA generated in less than 20 minutes, size is 145Mb (87Mb compressed). Is there a way to share it? If I remember well I read a post of PilotBalu regarding an ftp access, but I don't know if was just a thought.
  14. Yes, 12Gb usually are more than enough but I want to test it! :-) You're right, the airport is that... there's the same problem even with LIMB, near Milan, data looks good in OSM but there're lot of trees even there. I'll check with PACA when the generation will be complete (actually it's using almost 4Gb).
  15. I'm doing it right now, but as the french OSM data is lot more than ours I can't estimate the generation time.
  16. Hi Tony, maybe the problem with trees using the italian OSM data is like this one (LIPX airport): I did a full conversion last night using the 0.1.1 version with default parameters and I'm testing it right now... by the way using 12Gb of ram it took less than two hours to do the job (pbf file was almost 800Mb). OSM data about that airport seems ok, so I don't understand those trees.
  17. No chance about using Sketchup objects with OSM? In the meantime I'm trying to do a comparison using the Genèva scenery created with both Alpha 2 and Alpha 6, but I've almost no free time in these weeks...
  18. Genèva (Switzerland) with Alpha 3:
  19. Wow. I missed this thread for a day and now I'm watching those screenshots, they're impressive! Already got alpha 2, I'll try it with that rule enabled in order to check it.
  20. Using previously generated area (Milan and Geneva) I have this situation with trees on (or near) the runway. LIMB: LIMJ: 'Number of trees' is set to sparse. Angelo
  21. I'm using the latest Simheaven's photoreal files so they should already include (if I'm not wrong) the HD Mesh v2.
  22. I've generated another italian area (Geneva), very different than the previous one. There's a strange road in the first screenshot (still to check OSM data) but I like the result a lot!
  23. Here you can see some screenshots about Milan (Italy), not too much data as you can see. Finland was generated too, I've still to deep test it then I'll post some screenshot. Impressive!
  24. I check only specific blogs, not generic ones such cnet. I'm used to check periodically if there're updates of any kind, so when this one will be available I'll wait few days in order to check it's bug-free and then I'll apply it.
  25. The only update I'm aware of is about iOS, some fix about SSL protocol on iOS7 and others on iOS6. Nothing reported about OS X, not on developers' site nor on various blogs, not on my Mavericks and Mountain Lion systems. On which version of OS X?
