  1. Good job, Jimbo. Thank you. Cheers, AJ
  2. No clue , Doc. Laminar Research came up some time ago with a great feature to assign 3D cockpit views ( any way user want them to be) to the keyboard buttons. Now, I wish they would do the same with axis assign , meaning that you could assign axes and buttons to the planes saved with the planes, which would allow different settings for aircraft loadable with the airplane. Let's say two levers for throttle on JS32 but one on BE33 etc. Cheers, AJ
  3. Thank you, Cameron. I am from Poland and English is my second language, I don not know French either so I did not associate your forum name with your name, NOW I know, thank you. I know that PS file is included with the package and I used it, I was thinking the PS file for Experimental paint scheme but it is not a big deal, I can fly JS32 as it is using included existing livery. The reason I asked for PS of Experimental was that I would be able to make the new registration number nicely and quick. I am using a real registration number while flying on http://www.pilotedge.net/ . Thank you again for your time answering my endless posts. I like the support for JS32 very much. Thank you again. Cheers, AJ
  4. Yes, I am sorry, it was Japo32 who deleted my PM without responding. I know there are 2 of you answering here so I made a mistake. I apologize for blaming you. If it not a big deal or a secret, what are your names? Cameron and Yapo32? One is Javier and the other is ....? And which one is which one? Thank you again and sorry for addressing the wrong person. If I PM you, will you send me the PS format file for JS32? Below is what I wrote:
  5. Maybe you are right, if I have JS32 all working fine as far as the axes go and make sure that lock is not enabled and exit X-plane, next time I start X-Plane JS32 will have all axes. My point is that with so many things going on while flying, navigating and communicating , it is easy to forget at the end to enable lock when switching to different plane and then exit X-Plane. Yes I always say what I think and I hope others do the same, this is the purpose of the forums, right? I will not drag that subject more because I know there are more important things you need to take care of but I was just wishing that it would be something that nobody needs to remember while exiting X-Plane or switching to other one, like it is with all other high level X-Plane aircraft. Thank you for understanding and yes, it makes one mad when you waste precious time EVEN because you made a mistake that was documented as in JS32 case. As you can see , I can admit that it might have been an error on my side but it still want me to wish for a better solution in the next release. Thank you for answering which I really appreciate. Only one time I was VERY disappointed when I sent PM with request of the PS native file for Experimental livery and I saw you read my PM but did not bother to answer a word, any explanation would do instead of just simply ignoring my PM. Now, I will do some flying with my favorite JS32... Cheers, AJ
  6. I AM using checklist and have no problem with starting up, flying, navigating or anything else but losing axes which is not consistent and it should NOT be experienced. If someone wants to use mouse moving throttle etc., that is fine but I guarantee that there are many others who just want to follow procedures and fly instead of playing around how not to lose axes because the switch the plane. I said that I am not a dummy or computer illiterate to point out that if it happens to a person with that kind of knowledge , it must be a real PITA for others who might not even have these skills. My whole point is that the plane should either have an option to leave axes as they were while using other planes instead of not straightforward way of exiting the plane etc. I will defense my point, aircraft is absolutely great and I enjoy it to the fullest but the axis management solution is not right, it is a payware plane and I believe that many pilots would want the option I described, that is all. Cheers, AJ
  7. That is my point, I do not want to do everything right in a certain way, I want to load the plane and have my axes like they were set for the previous planes I flew, I do not want to do anything special and correct in case of JS32. Everything else is great but this axes thing is really a PITA, a major one. I hope next release will do something about it, too much waste of time and I am neither a dummy or computer illiterate.
  8. Unfortunately, I have to agree.... as great as that plane is and I love flying it, losing the axes just sucks. Today, I loaded BE33 and was ready to taxi after ATC exchange and preparation just to find out that I need to restart X-Plane with other plane than JS32 in order to get the axes even showing movement, not even assigned. Assigning axes would not be such a big deal but when I do not see the green bar at all while moving controls , I get ... well, yes, pissed..lol,lol,lol I wish it was a better way to deal with that than loading, unloading, control lock, unlock etc. Maybe 2 versions, one as it is and other without axes messing? Again, I love the plane but these reloads, restarts, assignments and so on can really get on one nerves. Cheers, AJ
  9. Made the test. Successful. See screen shots , one just before reaching FL250 and the other one stabilized flight at FL250. Notice KIAS, torque and outside temperature. KTAS was 230 Ground speed with 87 KT tail wind was 318 and with the 87 KT head wind 143 accordingly. Amazing plane and lots of fun ( after one figures out all the tricks)
  10. I think the mystery is solved. I also did not read about new limitation of 100% RPM for more than 5 minutes. Today at 16,000' flight I have kept the RPM at the border line of 100% what translated to torque only around 60% and resulted KIAS around 210 KT. I am SO happy, what caused the problem, it was not the oil cooler flaps, outside temperature or fuel boost, but just RPM over 100% for more than 5 minutes. Of course, with that limitation, climbing to FL250 would take very long time if it was possible at all. I think, I am going to make a test now. Thank you all for great responses and thank you Javier for excellent plane, love it even more... but I have to admit that I was pissed pretty bad after 3 in a row engines failures ..lol,lol and the cause was a dummy me, nothing else. Cheers, AJ
  11. First time I experienced the engine failure was at FL190 which is close to the FL200, second time I was at FL210. Definitely worth the try to turn booster pumps on, will give it a try tomorrow. Thank you for the input, gentlemen, these forums are another beauty of flying, there are always people willing to help.
  12. Thank you for the input , Gentlemen. As far as the Oil Cooler Flaps setting to Auto/Normal/Shut, I have tested it in the flight and did not see a major difference but few degrees. Unfortunately I DID lose an engine again during the test flight climbing up to 21,000'. Everything normal, all ant/de ice on, gauges in green and all of the sudden, boom, fuel stops being supplied to one engine, followed but engine shutoff.... No idea what could be wrong..... would be nice to confirm it or it is just my case?
  13. Well, than the question is what to do so I DO NOT lose it. It has to be something related to altitude and/or outside temperature, it does not happen at lower altitudes.
  14. Javier, I know what you mean by cheating but I have tried to do what you said, I switched to AIR start and followed the steps, no luck. I have a feeling that shutting the OIL COOLER FLAPS had something to do with preventing engine loss. With such a low outside temperature , maybe OIL COOLER FLAPS needs to stay shut but the AUTO should also work. Hmmm, with such a complex plane as far as X-Plane model, there might be many factors that are just sitting inside the X-plane logic. What I will try to do is to take off and watch the oil temperature with OIL COOLER FLAPS on AUTO, if it drops close to 0 C, I will shut them. This is all soooo amazing and realistic , I was sweating like I would in real life to make the flight and safely land. Cheers, AJ
  15. MAYBE I found a problem, I was saying that the fuel just stopped flowing and I saw the temperature of fuel below 0 deg Celsius. I closed OIL COOLER FLAPS and reset the failures in X-Plane. It seemed to work, then I switched to OIL COOLER FLAPS on AUTO and lost an engine again. I closed them again, reset the failures in X-Plane and it worked again but with the OIL COOLER FLAPS SHUT. Is it possible that it could be a cause? I also have noticed that outside temperature was about - 30 deg Celsius ( negative) Cheers, AJ
  16. Just lost the engine again ... all gauges in green, all was working fine, all of the sudden, no fuel flow.... sucks. It is starting to be annoying, I do not have failures set in X-Plane , all ant icing was on. Anybody has a clue?
  17. No matter how one looks at it , all these steps are major PITA but what I do in worst case scenario, I just assign axes before starting up JS32 and fly. I do not see the consistency , one time all axes are gone, other time not, no clear way of solving the problem. Love the plane too much to let it spoil the fun anyway. Cheers, AJ
  18. As in the forum title , the latest version of JS32 1.03
  19. Can you describe the steps to restart engine in flight? I lost the engine somehow and have trued to restart but with no luck. Thank you, cheers, AJ
  20. Thank you Cessna729, I knew I will hear from you. Philipp, sorry about posting in two places but since there is different audience in these two places I was hoping that I can get the answer faster and posting in two different websites is not a cross posting. Since, you answer in both places, I see a reason not to post twice. Thank you and sorry again. Cheers, AJ BTW, worked as a charm.
  21. I had similar problem. I restart the X-Plane with BE33 and all axis are gone. I think I did something wrong while exiting X-Plane. I have tried few times and as long as I have axis working and exit X-Plane having plane other than JS32 loaded, all axis are saved. It is annoying to remember that I need to exit X-Plane with the different plane loaded, if not I need to assign axes again but I still love the plane. It is worth that extra reminder. Plane is great and I love it, now I can change the frequencies via Saitek radio. I only wish it was a way not to have to remember to exit X-plane with different plane loaded... Cheers, AJ
  22. Gentlemen,I posted the same question in org forum but since the audience might be different here, I decided to ask in this forum. Here is my problem. I have FMS programmed for a SID departure. I have to take off using heading mode and follow ATC instructions which in many cases tell me to fly to 2nd or 3rd waypoint of my SID. So I am flying for example to my 3rd waypoint and get cleared to resume SID navigation. When I try to hit NAV mode ( FMS is a navigation source of course), CRJ2 does not want to fly to that waypoint but is trying to turn to fly somewhere else, I believe it is the first waypoint in FMS. How do I start flying in NAV mode my SID if I already passed couple of first waypoints entered in FMS? Let's say during the flight I needed to again fly in HD mode and missed few waypoints , how do start flying NAV mode again from a particular waypoint? Thank you. Cheers, AJ
  23. Hi Kyle, Good points. I was not concerned about the things you listed , I was just trying to see if the VS mode would get me to FL370 but I definitely agree with on fuel burn etc. I could try a longer climb with lower power settings definitely, I might try it on another flight. From what I have recorded: Payload Weight 4116 lb Total Weight 41806 lb Tail Wind 98 Started the test at FL290 , did not consider ISA deviation or optimum altitude, sorry. Yes, I understand that all mentioned factors are all linked together and will affect the performance but just for the curiosity if I can get to FL370, it worked. I usually fly CRJ2 at FL270 and below. Great plane , along with JS32, my two favorites. Cheers, AJ
  24. Gentlemen, Just for confirmation of what was discussed above. I have climbed up to FL370 using VS = 1.0 at maximum power settings ( in green of course) and watching the speed. At the final 1000' of climb U was at M.765 Worked as a charm. Thank you for a great discussion and explanations. Cheers, AJ
