I think you know that the airports are on the 9th DVD. Only EDLP, LPFR and LFMN are complete Airports the rest are teasers not more - just threw the rest away or use it till you find better ones. If you have trouble just delete all aerosoft airports and install again from the 9th DVD - this should really work - I had no problems with the installation at all. And do not forget to choose minimum default for objects - otherwise there is nothing to see. Cheers T.

Hi Tom, I am using the xjoymap pythonscript to write custom joystick or keystroke buttons for any command. You are completely free to customize the buttons like you want. For example: instead of heaving two buttons for RCS up and down it is possible to put it on one button to toggle through 3 stages - and it is possible to put both RCS left and right on this one button. This helps a lot of you don not have enough buttons :-) But it is necessary to know what command the author uses for each event. I really like this easy to hande script and python is working very well on mac and win (do not know about linux) so I wrote different scripts for several planes you will find it on the .org. xjoymap by joan perez http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=11720 BTW the MU2 uses the GIZMO. The nice EADT KLN90B FMC/GPS which is wrote with the SASL plugin will not work with GIZMO (unless those both plugins will be compatibel) Will you make a version for the Xreallity Garmin or a version with an Xplane FMC so that it would be possible to use Javier Cortes UFMC (or does a MU2 never have such a FMC) Do you know this KLN90B which was written by Dennis Pruefer and is distributed by EADT - it works very well and the airac can be updated thorough navigraph. Unfortunately an airac update for the Xreality Garmin is not possible it stays somewhere in 2010 or 2009 and it looks that it is till now not compatible with Xplane 10. Tom, I am really looking forward to that update for the nice Moo. Please be so kind and distribute a list of your custom commands like phillip did it for the CRJ200. That would make it very easy to write custom joystick or keyboard buttons for the Moo like the user want (I assume you did not write custom joystick or key buttons). Cheers and thnx Tom

No wait - this Furmark Test is very very intensisv, do not give up and see what is coming up. Ben will work on FPS improvements as well as nvidia and ati will work on OGL they cannot only be for DirectX - and to be fair MSX is very slow on high resolutions. So play with the prefs in XP10 you have to find out what is best for your configuration. But surely very modern computer games and other applications are requesting a lot of power in graphic, cpu, ram and electricity :-) Do not give up - XPlane is the better simulator!!! Cheers Tom

For sure DIRECTX10 or 11 is much more powerfull as OPENGL on WIN machines, but as xplane works on every platform Austin will stay with OGL - and we hope for the developers of the videocards and drivers. I was very surprised of the very low framerates with the latest FURMARK bench test (stress test) for OGL on my machine with Win64, I7 3Ghz, 8GB Ram and a nvidia GTX580 fired from a very highend powersupply - OGL is not very strong on WIN!!! only 1070 points! Hi, phototexture could help, but Austin does not like it and it seems that is is not possible to integrate phototextures (g2xpl or other commercial distributers) into XP10 without loosing the buildings and roads of Austins plausible world. I tried it around KSEA and came to this conclusion. Maybe alpilotx konws more or knows a way to do it. Cheers Tom

Your specs are surprising - me with stronger I7 and a GTX580 all on the MSI ECLIPSE Mainboard but with WIN7 64 bit - is able to run xp10 at all. with very low specs I have bd FPS and with volumetric fog on I got artifacts of ghost pics (not only me) If my hardware would work on linux I would switch - I am not sure what to do - I will try to set up a new win7 system - do not know if this helps. If I ran a furmark bench for opengl I get very good FPS with this nvidia GTS580 but with XP10 only quite low - to low! :-( So I am not sure if I am abel to use xp10 at all. Cheers and thnx Tom

The CRJ200 specific datarefs will simply not work with goflight products since sandy barbour did not rewriting his scripts. You really should take other hardware where it is easy to asign custom commands. Sorry not a nice answer but the truth - goflight will not work with datarefs which sandy did not implement in his script - and he told that this will maybe not happen cause it is a lot of work. Does this mean pressing the speed selection knob should toggle the seleted speed from IAS to MACH. If yes - this seems still not to work in the CRJ200 version 1.2. Cheers Tom

Hi out there, - using CRJ200 version 1.2 on win7 I do not see the red LOCATOR bug on the ILS, the red GS bug is there. (maybe it is correct that there is no red bug....?) - I have XP crash if I try to use the XPUIPC plugin. Cheers Tom

Hi Javier, did you read the last post? Please tell us if this changeover from KTS to Mach works or if it is a bug. (Here it is not working) Same for the button - its dataref is called "changeover" so I think it should change from KTS to Mach and back - it is not a speed sync. I do not know how it works in the real world - maybe you know. Cheers Tom

Please try to push the speed button and see if it change between kts/mach as it should and observe if it change automatically from kts to mach and back during climb and descent. Yes above the tape there is always mach displayed displayed - can see it rising during climb. And pressing the Speed Button is for changeover kts/mach according to the manual and the name of the custom dataref. I cannot see a change even not if I monitor mach kts change in the dataref editor. maybe only by me, maybe I missed something. Cheers Tom

Javier, hm...., I cannot see an automatic change to mach. And if I hit the Speed Button - the speed bug syncs to actually speed. no changing from mach to kts or kts to mach. Cheers Tom

Good luck with your search - here this list works well. From time to time there is a CTD when using a hardware button or keystroke via USB connection. I discussed this with Phillip. After assigining all the custom datarefs instaed of default datarefs it became much better - but still from time to time a CTD. Maybe xjoymap maybe USB commands. But it happens on any button not only on AP. Please tell me what you find. Maybe the author may teach you to write joystick commands directly like Ramzzess showed me how to write this for the SASL plugin for the SSJ - there I do not need the xjoymap anymore. Now it is all in the SSJ plugin. Cheers Tom
