AF380

Well I hope work is progressing well on the 787. Ever since I found the 767 here, I couldn't believe it was free with all the detail in it, it was outstanding. Now my search continues for a freeware 787 and look, heres one. definitely worth waiting for, its gonna be the best of all.

Im not going to start an argument here but, The fact that boeing came out with a new aircraft is quite extraordinary. All new aircraft experience difficulties, the 787 and the A380, im sure the 748 and the a350 will have problems as well. Though the thought continues that boeings fleet of 787s have struck numerous problems since its introduction. In all retrospect the 787 has probably had more issues than the A380. Even though boeing has come up with new fuel efficient aircraft, they should at least rethink what they do. Maybe take a look at how the 757, 767, 747 have been made and integrate some of the systems in the 787. Each long haul aircraft have different systems in them. in my opinion the 787 looks like a combination of a 767 and a 777.which in turn the systems in both aircraft are probably similar in some form. So with conclusion, and this is just my opinion like everyone else. Boeing should reconsider the 787 and hold production of all 787 aircraft and those in service. they should go back to the plans and relook over them. sometimes theres that small margin of error that creates a big difference. take a look at some of there other aircraft and use them as examples for further improving the 787. I just think that boeing was very much eager to put the 787 in service and just didnt do that many necessary tests on it before putting it in service. Im sorry if i offended anyone or if my point goes against what has happened.

american companies as in American Airlines alone buying it, jetblues feet is practically made of a320s and EMB-170/190.

yea, but it seams a bit weird that they are now including them in their fleet.

Even though it has German registration on it, does anyone else find it weird for american to have airbus aircraft in their entire boeing fleet. not forgetting the A300 they previously had.

Greetings! =D I recently purchased the JAR A320, and might I say it is well rendered and accurate. I enjoy flying with it on small 1-2h flights. Small question though, how do you input a a route into the FMC? so far ive been flying basically with sight and using landmarks. though ide like to start using the plane in VATSIM but cant figure out how to use the FMC. Also I don't know where the transponder box is (Sqwak code input). I have done a little searching in forums and youtube but most only show flights underway. The panel on this plane is much more different then the previous panels i have seen. does anyone know how to do either of the two?

All these pictures and updates just get me super excited for this plane, i really hope it comes out soon. I'm dying for a quality aircraft. take your time, it will be worth the wait im sure. =D

Macbook, pushback plugin and x737 plugin, A343

hey everyone, im having difficulties figuring out how to use replay mode on x-plane 10. it seams that replay mode only records what it wants and not actually what your trying to get. im trying to record a push and start from the gate then taxi and takeoff. thats it, but replay mode cuts out sections, and sometimes makes black smoke appear behind the engines during start up. ive also tried doing multiple replays, and the all start from the gate instead of where i saved them. Can anyone give me a step-by-step instruction on how to use this mode? ive searched everywhere and many people say the same thing "save it" even the x-plane.com website says the same.

Are we able to walk through the cabin like in the video with the 787?!?!?!?!?!

Can someone tell me the difference between 32bit and 64bit of x-plane? do they have different levels of detail? does one have a faster running rate? i have no idea.

If you are using a PC it is SHIFT + f1- f7 If you are using a mac it is SHIFT + fn + f1- f7 courtesy of I<3xplane10 i had the same issue so i did a little investigating, hope it helps. it did for me.

Lol yup, well of course u would see all that cause its an international airport. I don't see lots if planes at my airport. It's an international airport it's just never that busy.

well yea i guess, so but now since the 787 is here and being made by our awesome people here at x-pilot. it is one of those funny things to remark even though aircraft now have advanced so much in the future like the 747-800, 787, 380, 350. but im sure everyone would probably think it as just another empty shell that has seats and takes you to the place you need to be.

yea, most have been flying air canada probably, so u may be expecting the 777 there, since the a343 will be removed

kewl, a340s are so weird looking, they keep getting longer and the engines get bigger. AF is removing all their B744s and A343s from their fleet and replacing them all with A380s and B777s. ive never even flown on an a340 or B747 sad faces =(

LOL!!! =D, the wonderful world of society, even on the bonus side when they try to guess the type of plane they fly, they completely guess it wrong. even though its written on the nose section of the plane. people just make me laugh sometimes. but i mean everyone cant be aircraft enthusiasts like all of us now can they.

you know half of the people around the world don't even realize what types of planes they fly on cause they dont care. if they flew on the 787 they would probably thing of a 777 or 767, and on the 747-800 probably just an average 744. is really interesting lol
