Arizona Scenery/Tucson ?

Just wanted to make sure this is the way it should look. Leaving Tucson there is a block of realistic scenery to the North & West, but the city of Tucson seems to be the old scenery. Should it look like this?

Freeware i'll see if i can download it, i see there's a few Tucsons on the org

If you post back with the author i'll dl it and try it and tell you lol

If it's payware, well, over to someone else who's got it lol

Ohh, is that a 767-300 ? in the other posts pic ?

I got it on offer sunday i think, balls'ed up and wasted a second code lmao

It's the X-Aviation Arizona scenery for 29.95. I always fly the 777-300.

Well i was close on the plane lol

Could of been worse i could of said A380

Best i can suggest is check the tube for a vid someone may of done

I am guessing, the payware scenery works same as the smp and planes ?

So it auto installs to where it's required ?

I have no idea if it would even show up in the custom scenery ini , if it does, it might need moving by editing (doubt it though)

Is there any pdf or alike that came with it ?

While i fly EGCC ENBR i'll have a squint on the tube

It does auto install. I can't find any sort of read me. Hopefully someone that has the add on will reply.

Maybe I don't have it installed correctly. It's not in custom scenery. It's just under X-Plane which is the folder I chose when I installed it. I thought it would put it in the right spot. We'll see what the experts have to say. Unfortunately  I don't see an uninstaller. I also noticed I have two versions of UrbanMaxx that are listed in custom scenery.

Now I am thinking even though it seem like I went through the motions of installing this scenery yesterday that it's not actually installed. I really need help on this situation. Don't see a uninstaller so I guess the scenery is not installed? I keep on getting errors like below. So here are my questions since I believe the scenery add on may have done a partial install yesterday.

1/ Is there an uninstall for the AZ scenery add on like there is for UrbanMaxx Or SkyMaxx?

2/ Should I  be selecting new install or reinstall?

3/ Then  should I select the X-Plane folder on the desk top or the X-Plane Custom Scenery folder. Then the installer seems to prompt me  a second time which folder to install the scenery in.

I can't find a read me or instructions on this

 

I am obviously very confused about this to say the least!

Do you know if you get so many installs like smp and planes ?

With no uninstaller present, it usually means you click to install then it reverts to giving you an option of uninstalling then installing again

I'm on my second slot on my new 737 lol and also a 767 i got sunday has now took a second slot hehe (well not many hours after i got it, found out later you can't have it on same pc on two hdd's unlike smp/rwc and the 737)

So don't mess if you're near a limit of your installs

(someday i'll learn this i guess lol, delete only when you're sure you aren't deleting your only backup !! and date the damn backups when you save them grrrrrrrrr)

Dang, seems we both on a wing and a prayer

Still, could be worse, i could of just fubared a fresh minty x-plane install roflmao, damn i gotta laugh or i'd cry

I've finally managed to get my setup looking perfect for my taste, so that's me done with trying damn plugins i'm not sure about)

Gone 3am here so no idea if anyone will pass along to help you more

So confused on this that I am just going to sit back and wait till the experts answer. I know these installations are easy for quite a few, but they don't always go smoothly for me as a MAC user.

All i know about macs is they're damned expensive, well here they are

Hopefully you'll get someone that has that scenery or one in the series they make

Be good to know for the future how it works, knowing my luck when i buy those sceneries i'll have the same problem

I do not have any scenery purchased from xaviation, but reading the "installer" description asking for a folder to download, this is not an installer but a downloader. As i understand from the pictures you attached:

 

1. Xaviation provides you a downloader application with your purchase

2. You have tu run the application and select a TEMP folder of your liking where the application will download all content separated in a bunch of .zip files

3. Once you downloaded the content, unzip all files into the same TEMP folder and it should create several folders that you have to move into "/xplane 10/custom scenery/" 

 

launch xplane and you are ready to go.

if you still have any issue, once you downloaded all your zip files and unzipped them into your temp folder, do some screen captures for me to see the structure it created before you move them into xplane

I gave it try again after having a better understanding of what I should be doing. Unfortunately I continue to receive these errors. Then it exits the setup  I am thinking the program is partially installed. I can't find an uninstall, and that may be  why it won't let me reinstall or do a fresh install. I do find some files like the one below for Casa Grande. Not sure if these are from this scenery package?

Is there not a add/remove option like in windose ? then again, some faulty installs don;t show up there anyways

As i say, no idea unfortunately about macs, never even sat in front of one

The DDS is the file that reads xplane you do not have to open it.

You have to download the ZIP files, unzip them and move the content to xplane/custom scenery.

 

What worries me, you are receiving an error that "aguacaliente.zip" does not exist or not available. it could be an error on xaviation side. Or if they limit to 3 downloads as per they aircraft addons you may have exceded it.

 

You always had this error? or you were able to download before and kept re-downloading because you were not able to figure it out how to install?

Go to your account profile on xaviation, and check for your purchase if you still have downloads available?

I just put in a trouble ticket with X-Aviation. Technically I have only done my second download as until just a few moments ago I I was trying to unzip from a previous download,. Since it let me download the scenery a few moments ago I guess I haven't exceeded the max. Normally with the products I buy from them there is an uninstall that come with it. I guess I am stuck waiting for them to answer my trouble ticket unless someone come along that has used the actual program.
