Skorp Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 Hello guys. The other day I downloaded Airac 1512 and this is LEVX in Airports entry: A|LEVX|VIGO|42229122|-8627528|855 R|02|15|7825|0|0|0|42221456|-8629608|855|300|50 R|20|195|7825|1|110900|195|42242500|-8623886|829|300|56 I´m surprised because if I departure from LEMD to LEVX, in the STAR I see 02/20 in LEVX STAR´s but no when I departure form LEVX, then the LEVX SID I see are 01/19 runaways Any idea? mmerelles Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 (edited) Due to earth magnetic declination changes VIGO airport had to renumber their runway from 02/20 to 01/19 by the end of 2015. Why did you install an older CYCLE1512 (2015 - DEC)? xplane current version has already included CYCLE1602 (2016 - FEB) I presume the older cycle you installed has a bug with runway renumbering not properly updated on all procedures. I am not at the sim now to check that the newest cycle included with xplane 10.45 does not has the issue. edit: misspelling Edited April 15, 2016 by mmerelles Quote
Skorp Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 I´ve installed, in the CRJ resource folder, Airac 1512. The lines I´ve copied in my first post are from that Airac (airports.txt)....I suppose CRJ take airport runaways data from that file....or no? My question is why I have 01/19 (runaways not actived) in LEVX SID and 02/20 in LEVX STAR ?? Thanks, mmerelles Quote
mmerelles Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 You are not getting 01/19 on the SID/STAR because you have an oudated cycle on the CRJ-200 and the runways renumbered by the end of 2015. Assuming you are running xplane 10.45, if not then update xplane, it is free (xplane 10.45 includes cycle AIRAC1602 (2016 - February). 1. go to your /xplane 10/custom data/gns430/ and copy the folder navdata (and all of its content, so copy the folder) 2. to your crj-200 navdata folder, usually located at: /xplane 10/Aircraft/CRJ-200/plugins/CRJAvionics/ (there should be a navdata folder here already, replace it entirely, delete the old one first!) now your crj200 will have the cycle 1602 on its database including sid and star Quote
Skorp Posted April 21, 2016 Author Report Posted April 21, 2016 Hello mmerelles Problem solved. The Xplane´s navdata is not compatible with CRJ navdata. The solution is to update CRJ navdata with VASFMCnative file, as Phillip says. My error was I´m thinking LEVX changed runaways from 01/19 to 02/20, when as you know was 02/20 to 01/19.... Thanks for your help, mmerelles Quote

mmerelles Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 ops... glad you managed to fine tuned the solution i assumed the CRJ200 was also compatible to xplane navdata. Quote

It appears the Steam version of the CRJ-200 is (compatable with the X-Plane GNS430's navdata), see Philips post here. cessna729. Edited April 24, 2016 by cessna729 Quote
